The solution to your problem has been posted by Hotmetal.

https://lbr.id.lv/6xgpu_mod/

^^^you need this in order to see more than 4 cards in Windows 7 and 10. (I have not tried 8 so i cannot speak to it.)

I have this exact same board and had to run this mod to make it work in windows. If you are mining ETH  I would personally recommend ethOS. It is a very simple linux setup that will pretty much just work out of the box.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

Thank you friend, I'll go see this.

For ethos I think about it but I know nothing about linux,

And friends I think I have found,

Apparently if you plug a card on the pci-16  blocks a pci-1.

(Yellow triangle)

So ca done 5maxi on the asrock btc h81. Sad

But a pci-1 riser can be connected to the pci-16 socket on the motherboard. Smiley

Hello everyone

I have exactly the same problem!

-motherboard: asrock btc pro rev2
-cpu: Celeron G1840 2.8 GHz
-5rx 480 8go reference
-ssd
-4GB
-food lepa 1000w

It works perfectly with 4 cards, but when I add the 5th.

In the device manager there is the yellow triangle as the screenshot of gablay12.

I try full of thing

Uninstall driver with ddu,

Restart with a gpu on the pci-16

Instal driver 16.9.2, try also with the 19.9.1

it works .

I insertind the pc, I add a card.

I reboot, it also works,

And when I plug the 5th card. It is not detected by watman,

And the device manager tells me who has a problem. On the 5 th card.

So I try to put the driver in manual, but it tells me that the driver is already installed. Wtf!

Bios a day, I try gen 1 and 2.

always the same .

We can say that the motherboard can not manage 6 cards, but 4 maximum.

I do not understand ..... I know more what to do.

We will say that the problem is known.

G oto device manager and go to properties. What error code do you see? Is it 43? Dont just say yellow triangle..

My OS is Windows 10.

I can not use Pimp since it does not suppor RX 480 AMD cards.

Linux is a good alternative and seems the best option.I am not familiar with Linux. If nochoice I will do it.

Well, to uninstall and install option has been delivered many times.

Unlike the answers the latest catalyst version is not the best.We can discuss it later.

I am running a farm and cloning my ssd s and I have found a malware.

The rigs still work and close down about half an hour later.Very interesting other RX 480 and R9 390X cards work flowless. There is something special to the Asus ROG 8 Gb cards.

I will try Linux by tomorrow if I can not solve the problem.

PS:What is the best remote control pogram for Linux?

Finally I have solved.About two weeks ago windows released an update which causes driver failure.Well, you install the latest driver. The latest driver installation triggers a reset to your over/under clock settings.Well,I can prove it.If you use Claymore (if not switch to) you will have log files you can see it there.Further more, if you check you will see '"ATIKMPAG.SYS" which corresponds the PSU problem.

What I recommend you either switch to Linux or change your PSU.Plus malware may do the same driver update and reason failure.Good luck.If it does not snow and you have free time I can visit you at the power plant.

Thanks to BTC_Istanbul problem solved.

You do not need any modification for 5 card @ windows 10.

I will not lock so people experiencing similar problems can use the info and network.

Pimp is also a great software for mining.I suggest you both use Ethos and Pimp and compare.

Hello

I also had problems when I add my 6th card,

You have to change the registry base so that the 6 cards appear.

Here is the link: https://lbr.id.lv/6xgpu_mod/

And connect your screen to card 2 (pci 16) of the motherboard, because if you plug in card 1, I have a black screen.

go to the moon !!
