Didn't you mean *R&D ?Even the developers know it is a pump and dump trail,helps them make a few bucks which is not so bad since we have lot of idiots to fall for anything.However add Monero to the list of good coins,they aren't flashy enough.

these days nobody is looking for anything more than a quick buck in altcoins. everyone only wants a good pump and dump coin to join in the pump and them make some money out of it.
it is not easiest or cleanest way of making money online but if it works it works and who cares if it is a copy of another altcoin with a different name

you have been mistaken some where, if you count LTC then you must add Ethereum because ETH is most strong coin but now a days a bit fall with ETH but it start raising now days
Most people belive and knew that 98.5 % altcoin are scam but they would love trade in altcoin too

It depends on how you define "good". Among these two, BTC is more trustful than LTC.

That's a rough statement, that I do not understand. I'd understand if you said that just Bitcoin was valuable, but why include Litecoin ? I see a lot more future in Ethereum than in Litecoin just for exemple. So assuming all the other altcoins are scams is rather cynical.

I think Litecoin, as you said, is a good coin, because it was fairly distributed in its early stages. The problem is that there is not much demand in the market, and as we know, price is a result of supply and demand, in addition trading volume is relatively low, such factors make Litecoin attract few traders and investors.

they basically piggy back onto the BTC and LTC networks?

id say about 10% of the alts we have today show potential for later maybe even less like closer to 5% but btc is here to stay.

No Altcoin of the 6,000 estimated ANN topics has come close to achieving what Bitcoin has.

You can't sit there and make 6 fucking thousand ANN topics and claim you think everyone that comes along will get "ADOPTED"

And if it does not get adopted.. then it is not a fucking "Currency"

I generally disagree with calling altcoins scam or saying things like die or live.
many altcoins will still stay around but what kind of staying around or staying alive? look at Dogecoin or Reddcoin for example they have been around for a long time, they are being mined and many use them but investing in any of them is a foolish thing and also there is not much usage for any of them. and that is true about 99% of altcoins.

Shame on you, you know nothing about LTC, it has a strong community, a foundation, active development (even if it doesn't appear), the acceptance index of LTC is growing everyday, if it was a scam, why so much people are buying using it ?

Ltc is dead. It's got no interest form anyone except bagholders looking to get out but that's never happening. Just look at its charts.
