This is just a heads up to everyone who has used/is thinking about using bitinstant.

They are either stealing everyone's money or are too incompetent to run a money transfer service successfully. Either way, that means YOUR money is in jeopardy of being lost in limbo.

Just look at the thread of everyone complaining about never receiving their funds. I have yet to see anyone post saying their issue was resolved or they received their transfer successful after their problem was "escalated".

So, does that mean there are no cash deposit options into MtGox now?

Welp, back to bitfloor. I just got verified too...

There are still deposits, but if you use bitinstant you run the risk of never seeing your money.

I sent my problems to support. I made a deposit April 7th and still am waiting for my issues to be resolved. What are my chances for this to be solved ?

I've been waiting since April 2nd and have yet to have my issue resolved. I've seen people that have been waiting for longer.

Haven't seen a single person say their issue was resolved in the past week; the complaints just keep mounting up.

I mean deposits in cash only. No bank transfers or anything like that. Seems that that is the case.

The problem is mt gox has new account numbers. But bit instant requires you to use the old numbers. If you read the instructions on MtGox page it tells you to use the old numbers. But even I missed this.

If you don't use the right account number they issue you a MtGox coupon code instead.

When you get the "order processed" email, the coupon code is in the "API response" section. Just paste that into mt gox and the funds will be there.

Hope this helps someone

What if I never got the "order processed"?

I can check the status on bitinstant (using the tracking number)

It's stuck on: MTGox Order Loading

It's been stuck on that for a few days now...

The help is appreciated Tripmode, but this isn't the problem people are having. People aren't simply missing a mt gox code, they are missing money. Their money has disappeared from mtgox/dwolla/whatever deposit method they used, and their bitinstant order is stuck on "Loading".

No problem - if it the order is "processing" then yeah, not much you can do. My understanding is the this is on MtGox end though. Similar thing happened to me with the order stuck on processing. If BI can't communicate with the MtGox API then the system won't work. This is why we need Tradehill back! MtGox can't handle all this volume

I don't know, but I can certainly tell you that people have managed to not deposit cash via BI in the past couple days...
