It is necessary to organize such meetings only in a bank or an office where  are a lot of people. To exchange bitcoin in this way is very dangerous, but you save on commissions and get money immediately.

I never experience to someone to face to face exchange bitcoin.. but i think that is why we are using bitcoin because we do not want to let them know our identity or because we are lazy we can just pay in bitcoin online without going in their place..

There is no way of having fiat for btc. So, we must have to exchange f2f. Sometimes, we do it with trust too.

It is the safest method so far I used to exchange my Bitcoins. I sought the seller on localbitcoins who lived just few minutes away from me in my locality. We met at  a shopping mall with our laptops, and it went on smoothly. I think this is better than doing it over on the internet with faceless people or exchange that sometimes look unreliable.

I am afraid to personally deal with another person. It may feel awkward too. Also, another factor is that it's really hard to find someone who wants to trade face to face as the main purpose of bitcoins is anonymity which would not be achieved when we do face to face deals.
Besides, I don’t find any particular use of this. I mean, why bothering meeting someone face to face while you can do same task by sitting at home with ease. This is advantage of digital assets over physical ones. You do not need to travel in order to trade it. Bitcoin provides us speed in transactions and such a method is definitely equal to killing this feature. It will also reveal identities.

no need to change coin f2f between friends and relatives. Because people are such beings that when bitcoin will jump up or down they will blame you.

I've been using BTC for a while. I've been using it at exchanges, to trade altcoins and to order goods over the Internet, but I've never exchanged BTC with someone in front of me. At a store or between friends, or family. This despite having had long conversations about BTC with various kinds of people, and attending a few meetups.

Who has exchanged BTC F2F?

I have done it but not in a stranger because that is probably a dangerous one because they might be a bad guys wanna get all your bitcoins dude. I am just foing it with my friend in school like for example they wanted a quick cash and a little one that cannot be cash out through banks so thry will ask me if I had a cash then I will scan their code and exchange bitcoins. But in something that I dont know and even if I know but I dont trust no i am not doing it. Just do some transactions at home that is a lot more safer.

In those days of limited services in cryptocurrency ecosystem, I have had to look for buyer for my mined bitcoin and some altcoin. I found one buyer on internet and we exchange in an open public restaurant. It was successful.

Yes,I did with some of my friends who are living very near to my locality so we just hangout and trade the bitcoins too foe some times but trading with strangers by this method is quite risky.Because they might be a thief who just want to stole money from you.

Everything has there inherent risk. I think exchange bitcoin face to face could be a serious risk that must be taken with all seriousness and caution.  I like to transact bitcoin electronically and anonymously too.

I think, bitcoin is not a physical asset that robbers can snatch and if it was possible, same threat lies while you are dealing with your friends. Nobody can access your bitcoin without you giving them the required credentials. And it is definitely better to keep the transactions to yourself. Letting others know about it can put you in danger. You never know what future may bring you so better stay anonymous in all ways.

I am not trying to do this yet because I still sending my btc to my friend and then he can sell the money into my bank account. but I know where my friend lives, who is he, and all details about him because he is one of my closest friends and I don't think that he will scam me because we have a good relationship. maybe if tomorrow or when I want to withdraw, I will visit my friend home's and I will send the bitcoin at her home while we can talk much about everything.

That's not common activity to exchange bitcoin face to face, but for my own experience I was buying personally the crypto coins from a friend. Bitcoin buying though a person doesn't come to my mind, because most transaction can be done wallet to wallet.
