Not only do I buy them online, I have never met them directly. If I could convert them into physical form, I would not be able to attract many investors.

Well if you could say helping a friend to start in Bitcoin by selling them some then yes I have experience it,
My friend wants to start in Bitcoin too when he founds out that I was making some money by investing in a HYIP back when I was just new in crypto then he tells me that he also wants to try it and I was about to cash out some of my Bitcoin then he told me that he would just buy it.

I never do it yet because in my village just little bit people know about Bitcoin and understanding what is. They only know fiat currency and all store only accepted that currency, crypto is not familiar yet in my village, so at the moment i use crypto only for trading on the exchange.

yes i have exchanged bitcoin face to face through local bitcoins the value of bitcoin is less but i gained trust by doing so it was  healthy deal

wow, I have never exchanged my bitcoins face to face. never tried local bitcoins as well because mostly people used local online exchange here in my country.

talking about having bitcoin transactions face to face, there are many merchants that accept bitcoins here in my area (mostly cafe). however, I never tried to pay my stuff with bitcoin. better hodl it Grin
Lol I think you'd rather profit investing than have fun with spending your bitcoin ? actually there are already
some bitcoin users in my city. and I occasionally met them just for sharing and sometimes doing face to face deals with them

I've been using BTC for a while. I've been using it at exchanges, to trade altcoins and to order goods over the Internet, but I've never exchanged BTC with someone in front of me. At a store or between friends, or family. This despite having had long conversations about BTC with various kinds of people, and attending a few meetups.

Who has exchanged BTC F2F?

I've never been experience of changing bitcoin face to face into other person,or some paying my debts into particular lending investment or loans otherwise  there are times that one of my friends borrow me an etherium into my local exchange wallet that name coin.ph so i transfer them some of my etherium to his wallet for the purpose  of using it into his trading transaction in MEW transaction fee.

I already did it when I escorted Master Cryptocurrency, bought a Doll for her child, when I took her car her and she went to a little toy store.
He brings cash but his money is less, and unexpectedly the owner of the store has a Bitcoin wallet, so at that time my Master made the purchase of Dolls with Bitcoin by Face to Face.

I have been working with the cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, first of all) since 2013. However, I can confess that I never had any ideas connected with the exchanging it face to face.

have heard site name cashaa or bitc2bid in past, they said they can make people who trade in their site meet each other because it need code for buyer to claim their coins after  pay to them as middleman. i think it can be good thing to make bitcoiners in a same city meet each other

Dont ever deal with a stranger to trade BTC face to face.  Always secure your self. If you really need to trade with a. Stranger better do it inside a bank where theres a cctv camera and security guards.

I once had a one to one exchange, but that was with someone whom I know for the past few years. I would never do a one-to-one exchange with a stranger. I have heard so many horror stories related to it.

In my country face to face transactions of bitcoin is usually carried out when the exchanges from bitcoin to fiat involves a huge amount of btc, in fact it is often agreed that the meeting point should take place in an army or police barrack to avoid unforseen circumstances after the two parties had agreed and reached a conclusion.

In my country, i didn't find any option like this because locally we have some exchanges where we can sell the Bitcoin for fiat currency. It is very difficult to exchange face to face because how can we simply believe them because after giving cash maybe he will leave.

I've never do that, maybe because bitcoin can be done without F2F, so it's a strange thing, indeed to increase trust is a good thing, it's just that this is a bit strange, it's just my personal opinion. and maybe we will transact which is from different countries? we will be hard to meet.

I never exchange BTC with others person by P2P because here just little bit people understanding and how BTC work. Many people around me still not familiar with crypto,  and they only use fiat as payment for buying good n service.  But in big city in my country there already some shop and merchants accepted Bitcoin.

I think it’s even hard to say which process is more complicated — to exchange btc face to face or to use crypto website. To be honest, in case of exchanging it personally, I don’t know how to find a guarantee that I won’t be fooled. Speaking about convenience, I'm feeling more comfortable when I'm dealing only with exchange. Communication with humans is way more complicated 😂

i have done bitcoin transaction face to face in our local community.  sometimes i buy bitcoins from someone, we meet, we go to internet café, he transfer the bitcoin and i gave him the money.  doing business in localbitcoins opens up opportunity in meeting other crypto people within local community.
