Fund your Ripple account -- XRPs for 0.25 BTC

Do you want to give the Ripple system a try? Do you need an account funded? If so, then you need XRP.

You can use XRP to:

1) Open a Ripple account (200 XRP).

2) Hold balances in different currencies at different gateways (50 XRP for each currency/gateway combination).

3) Place multiple currency exchange offers at once (50 XRP per concurrent offer).

4) Perform transactions (about 100,000 transactions per XRP).

5) Create an account or two for a friend (1,000 XRP each).

It depends where you shop. Right now, I've seen prices ranging from 1,900 XRP to about 4,800 XRP. The market is kind of unstable. If you asked me right this second, I'd offer 3,000 XRP for 0.25 BTC.

Boy do I wish I knew that! I moved lots of my XRP into BTC when BTC dropped to 100 expecting it to go back up -- and then XRP goes up!
