Autographs for the Encyclopedia of Physical Bitcoins

I'm happy to announce the loose sets of signatures and holos for the Encyclopedia of Physical Bitcoins are in stock and available for sale.  I personally wish to thank all the coin makers and others involved, as this project has brought dozens of members of our community together.  

Pricing will be 0.30 BTC per loose set (book not included), with only 10 sets for sale, and another 4 sets (with serial numbers #1-4) may be offered at a later date by auction.  I do not plan to do this project again, so this will likely be a one time opportunity.  These labels may be used for previous softcovers, current hardcovers, or kept for future editions of the Encyclopedia.  A book purchase is not required.

Serial numbered COA's available are SOLD OUT  The back of the COA will have a numbered list that will match to a number on the back of each signature/holo, so someone will know who is who.

Free First Class shipping with tracking to the US and overseas.    Additional Shipping options are available at additional cost.  

A black 10 3/8" x 4 5/8" genuine leather album is offered for $15.  I have a very limited amount of these, so buyers of a loose set are given first option to purchase one of these.

Out of the 50 sets made, 20 are set aside for the hardcover Autograph Edition, 13 are given free to certain coin makers who signed early in the project,  and 3 are reserved for minerjones.  

5% of sales of the 17 loose sets will be donated up to two charities or campaigns.  The first is a gofundme for a little girl fighting cancer at https://www.gofundme.com/elayna?ssid=838483386&pos=1 .  My wife and her mom are acquaintances through facebook.

Signature labels are 1" x 3".  Most holos are affixed to 1/2" x 3/8" smaller labels, though some are loose.   Both labels are acid-free, archival paper on foil-backing.    Please note that these labels will add thickness to the pages, so be aware that pages will not lie as flat.

The only interesting thing for me it the doodle. Whose ridiculous idea was to include the trash Defcoin poker ships? It feels like an addition of a random (and unnecessary) item.

Really a great idea for a great book.

Time will tell whether the book is great (lessons have been learned from the previous one). The idea is rather interesting, but I don't see myself paying $500 for 35 stickers.

I think it makes the physical version of the book more special and personal with both the signatures of many of us in the community and the holograms added too.

I want to again congratulate Howard (bithalo) on putting this together, and nearly selling out in such a short time! I am also happy to say that most of the Autographs Edition books are now sold. Only the following numbers remain unreserved:

I personally do not desire to repeat this project again.  As I mentioned, it was a lot more time and effort than I expected.  I'm glad I did it, but it consumed so much time then and now, putting the sets together.

There's always a chance I may contact only the late 2016 or 2017 coin makers next year for future 2017 Encyclopedias, but that book hasnt been started yet.

I still have 2 unsold sets and another 3 will be auctioned in the future, likely after all the other sets are sold.  2-3 more are set aside for minerjones at the moment.

If anybody has received their loose sets, I would appreciate if they could post pictures, especially if they add them to their books.  I've sent out to about 7 people myself, and minerjones should be sending out another batch shortly along with their books.

Thanks mj.  I'm likely not going to do the auctions for #2-4, until I sell out of the $495 priced loose sets of autographs and holos.  Numbers 11, 12, 18, 27 are available. 

Also to reiterate mj's statement, I will not be doing another round of signatures or holos in the future.  As stated earlier, I may do a very limited amount for just brand new makers that weren't in the last Encyclopedia, if we decide to do that in next year's edition.  Right now, theres only 1 maker (tothemoonsands) I know of thats new that comes to mind.

This was a very cool idea. I just did a ton of reading on how the idea popped up early in Elianite's Encyclo. thread (back in 2015) and then your origination of gaining the signatures to seeing the finished product. Very, very cool.

I did notice, however that Mike Caldwell doesn't appear on the list - any particular reason he decided to abstain or was not included?
