EDIT: Thread retitled. See latest post to view latest culprit. I understand why the infamous pic thread was locked sans asking, but this one eludes me. I look forward to the reply and hopefully it's a good reason that could be used to lock myriad threads in off-topic. TBC, I have major shit on theymos according to the following post, so he best be careful: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1718829.msg17210917#msg17210917

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Thank you, hilariousandco, for the detailed response, where I agree 100% with your assessment. That said, I know that you [paid] mods are pretty busy at times, so allow me (with now perhaps others) to pick up the mod's slack on my (our) dime to weed out even more threads were these nefarious sig spammers game the system where they, too, are earning a buck. I took the time to read the last 10 pages of the off-topic section and FINALLY found a candidate (okay, maybe I didn't read 10 pages but got lucky with said thread being at the very top of said section hiding in plain sight, hence NEVER before seen by any of the [paid] mods, otherwise it, too, would've be locked by now under the exact same pretense): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=551747.0https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=551747.msg17211060#msg17211060Very low value spam thread: ✔Writing a few words of rubbish: ✔Thread abused by farmers and sig spammers: ✔ (damn sig spammers is the reason we can't have anything nice around here) I, among others also on their own dime, look forward to working alongside [paid] mods to finally weed out and put an end to threads obviously designed to only cater to them nefarious sig spammers earning a buck. Together, we'll make BitcoinTalk the best damn forum on all the wew (see my sig if not versed).

Amazing what a tad of satire can accomplish. I just noticed several off-topic threads were recently locked. That said, time for bed. Nite, all.

Nice catch, 0x0010! How does it feel to be an unpaid Wikipedia editor-esque entity doing all the field work policing the site while those above us may or may not take timely action, namely merely literally clicking a button to lock a thread, again, thanks to our unpaid efforts while they get paid?

Feels better than spewing out nonsense for less than $0.02. The gambling section is the main example of spamming, considering the fact that half the signature campaigns are gambling services that pay for like 10 posts in there. It's funny how they manage to turn one sentence into ten by saying the same thing over again. This site would be great if the admins did something about it or at least gave permission to some members to do it. But oh well

Meanwhile, the following very low value spam thread abused by farmers and sig spammers is still not locked: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1538843.0Here's what I'm gonna do or, moreover, not do: I'm not gonna suck any more mods' dicks till 2017. That'll teach 'em!

I am not a gold miner but I like gold, I think the miners and miners bitcoin is no easy job. to be a miner in his rope that whatever type of all is not easy I aspire to pen prose like the above so that one day I, too, can contribute to very low value spam threads abused by farmers and sig spammers and get paid for it.

Can we talk about how individuals continue to add in "As ________ has already said previously, <repeats previous post entirely>"? Lots of "question" threads are plagued by this spam strategy, and Meta is haunted by it constantly [in the threads about ranks, avatars, and usernames]. Example 1: Change avatar?I would even go as far to say that everything past reply #3 (maybe #4, though it is a little unnecessary) is completely worthless since it's just recycled information. Example 2 (post): Change usernameStep 1: agree with quote Step 2: repeat what quote said
Bonus YoBit spampost: I can't believe this supercalifragilisticexpialidocious giveaway is kicking off very soon, it's heating up and people want to start that new year in bliss, I wouldn't blame them Good luck to all. (let's add a lengthy word to appear constructive!)

Sometimes things need to be repeated over and over either to show it's importance or to show that many people have the same opinion and ideas about them, if you think like you are right now then we should say why people breed while the world and the people in it are the same over and over in history? About signature spammers as you like to put it, I must say it's them the admins of those campaigns to blame because they want more posts than the community can provide subjects for, and when you can't find a right subject you'll be forced to repeat and submit useless posts, good thing though we have lots of sh*tcoins announcing every day otherwise trash would've choked us to death

I quoted every intelligent part of your reply.
Sometimes things need to be repeated over and over either to show it's importance or to show that many people have the same opinion and ideas about them
Wrong. There is no sense in repeating something that has already been said in a thread where a question is asked. When the question is answered, you should not answer it again. In real life, do you do this? If a stranger is asking for directions from another person, do you tell them the same thing afterward? No. if you think like you are right now then we should say why people breed while the world and the people in it are the same over and over in history?
How did you arrive at that conclusion, where people are the same? This statement has no merit because you are making an inconclusive assumption, "people are the same over and over in history" which has neither been stated by me or proven by you. About signature spammers as you like to put it, I must say it's them the admins of those campaigns to blame because they want more posts than the community can provide subjects for
Why are you blaming the managers for the employees' work? Sure, shittier campaigns have a significant portion of fault lying with the managers - secondstrade for example - but the reality is that you can achieve the quota without spamming. It just takes more time, which a lot of account farmers are unwilling to do. And hence they spam. You can say that there should be foresight for hiring the posters, though you still can't rely on the manager to deduce the skill of the employee perfectly, and there should not be complete blame directed towards them. Vicarious liability exists in real life, but it seems a little stupid to blame not the spammer for spamming, but rather the one who pays the spammer (or doesn't, because they are not quality posts). and when you can't find a right subject you'll be forced to repeat and submit useless posts
So you're telling me when you can't find anything you're forced to spam? You have to break rules to earn bitcoins? That doesn't make sense to me. Why join a campaign when you can't keep up the quota while still producing quality content? There are campaigns that offer lower post counts for a given time frame. good thing though we have lots of sh*tcoins announcing every day otherwise trash would've choked us to death It already has.
Bonus post: This is all impossible also my website can't worth 5 btc. since you mention that your website is made 2 months old so it means it is new and it is impossible that you are earnings $100 usd or more because its new.. even in organic traffic via seo you will just get small traffic.. Like my above post why you need to get loan since you are earnings $100 a weeks and why you need more traffic? This question for me is hard to trust. If you are doing affiliate marketing with your site better to stay and ask for your manager about early payout maybe they can give you early payout because i am also working in affiliate marketing and any advertising network..
It always brings a smile to me.
