Code:
Status: 1/unconfirmed
Date: 09/04/2013 20:24
Transaction fee: -0.0025 BTE
Net amount: -0.00454 BTE
Transaction ID: f02f01fd36e3b468b2cb81eb62514ac402ed880bf5f2a1318ce813404acd8c7c

Has since had 1 confirm since i wrote this...but still. Its been almost an hour now.

Plus the pool.bytecoin.in pool has stopped updating shares and confirming balances....

Not looking good.

(This tx is the first payout from the BTE Faucet www.ByteHits.info)

Update; Been 3+ hours now.... Up to 2 confirms....but no new blocks and tx still not showing up.

Update2; BlockExplorer is up to date again. tx is showing and now has 3 confirms.

TL;DR Things are back to normal.

The network hashrate seems to be done, maybe that's part of it.

Network hashrate       312.56 GH/s

Also in the last block... It seems 2000 BTE may have been 'created' out of thin air. Not mined. Just sent from 'Unknown' in batches of 900/100 to 8Z5f2EjScqS2rVgRNoE27GNB4fKYh1fqnt

There was a reason why Satoshi published his paper over a year before the genesis block.

Hopefully it isn't a major problem and no one loses a lot of money.

I must recommend to the new comers not to go out and buy every single ALT coin that pops up. These things can happen and they can be worthless overnight.

Do your research before investing in a new currency, a lot of the random ALTs that pop up are pump and dump scams or offer no innovation to the cryptocurrency ecosystem.

I paid 0.025BTC for some BTE Tongue so I've only got $6 invested in it at current rate. Also mined a bunch and seemingly got a 25 BTE donation from a random Anonymous source.

I'm not really sure whats involved in cloning a cryptocurrency, But if the entire life of BTE was only 9 days, damn that was short lived.

Hmm, I really hope it's a problem with blockexplorer. Has anything ever happened like this in Bitcoin? 51% attack?

Guys I have told you on the day of its release

major update:

FRC is back!

diff dropped and hashrate picked up imidiately . a lesson to new coins - use PPCoin-like diff adjustment, its so much better.

Apparently bytecoin once again ignored the good advice. Expect another freicoin like episode with bytecoin.

Are you able to perhaps make a change to the bytecoin source and get the users to download a improved version?
