C'mon guys. Bytecoin is a carbon copy of Bitcoin. If we find an issue that will be good ...for Bitcoin. Smiley

Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

Just a guess that there are a few nodes on the Bytecoin network and some of them tried to fake data. It's still good, we were expecting someone would try to kill the competitor of Bitcoin. If Bytecoin survives - OK. If not - so be it.

Are you able to perhaps make a change to the bytecoin source and get the users to download a improved version?

No. It's not my coin so I do not intend to interfere with other's work. You'd have to ask bytecoin's developer to adopt ppcoin's difficulty adjustment algorithm.

We should probably do that. Are blocks going through at all now or is the difficulty too high?

Any suggestions on how to change the code over?
