Judging from news sources and the QTUM foundation's response, I gather that China cannot dissolve the Singaporean ICO platform. I believe that international investors' QTUM funds are safe on Bizhongchou until the MainNet launch when they may be withdrawn.

Sorry to hear this your coins got stuck on that Chinese ICO platform this is really panic situation for investors who don't want get refund. Let's see what what decision they take that is really huge amount if someone has verified account and not from China than they should clear their policy on this withdrawal.

I want to join their slack channel so I can be updated on the latest news related to qtum.  The recent ICO ban in China is scary and I am concerned.

Also is it safe to keep qtum on https://bizhongchou.com?  I figure since the mainnet will release soon, then no point getting the tokens out since I will have to exchange then again for the real qtum coins once released.

You can currently store Qtum on ether Wallets like MEW.

However, mainnet is coming soon, you would be very unlucky to lose your tokens between now and then if you have them on a exchange.

Alot of overreactions.  Why would anyone get a refund on their Qtum when it's worth 10x the ico price?  The statement was released just to be in compliance as the chinese government said all ICO operating in China must do so.  It's just so that all projects that took money and ran, must give back the money.  No one in their right mind would refund their Qtum for ICO price.  As a matter of fact, just send me your Qtum instead and i'll give you double the ICO price.

Too bad for this project to refund at this point of time when the product was almost ready for user adoption.Along with this all other recently concluded ICOs from China are also impacted like Binance? and whether antshares? it is an old token for now but whether there is some impact too?

This is not a mandatory refund, this is optional. The development will continue as planned, and the main network will launch on the 13th of September.

Happy to get clarity on the situation. Any news on a new exchange?

It was going to be Polo or Kraken, but it's either delayed or their waiting on mainnet release before announcement.

During at least 3 last days, every 1-1.5 hour I get a spam advertising Qtum, referring to page 212 of this thread (spam message is almost fixed, only fake sender is changed).

Just curious, whether this is a common event last days?
