I'm glad Darcrus team finally decided to make the switch. NXT is a great platform but It doesn't have a noob-friendly user experience. I think that is the reason why the growth of DarCrus was hampered. DarCrus has been on my tabs since Late December/Early January so I feel the switch to Waves is a really good move. Might be a good time to get in and grab some DAR(s)

The things that are coming up next are the following:

1.The Swap, 15th September, handled by Bittrex;
2.News from the devs coming after that;
3.Coins will be burned, the devs will buy DAR on Bittrex and burn them, 7-10 days after the swap.

Cryptopia has had some problems with the Waves wallet due to some updates so they are taking out certain markets. Hopefully together they'll find a solution.

So the dev's plan to buy the Dar tokens back and burn them. Seems like it would be an equal value... nothing should change and it wont increase market cap or anything like that unless they are going to say every 2 dar now is equal to 1... doesn't seem like they will "buy them back" it seems more like they will just take them burn them and redistribute the ones from the NXT platform to the waves platform (no impact on price)

just trying to understand why everyone is shilling this to increase so much, they are going to take a snapshot and distribute accordingly just like what was done with BCC

Move your coins on Bittrex until 1AM UTC and you'll be good to go. You'll still be able to swap your Darcrus until December 31st but the dev hasn't explained yet how the other swaps will happen. DAR is swapping to Waves because NXT is going through some changes right now, it will turn into Ardor. Also, MER is already on the Waves platform so it will be much easier for the devs to create a multi-wallet for MER and DAR together since they'll be on the same blockchain.
