Altcoins may drop even more as bitcoin price rises, it is really hard to predict when they will follow bitcoin's price or even if they will.

Ethereum is in a descending path, I wouldn't buy it now, litecoin is still dropping, I wouldn't buy doge or reddcoin.

Take a look at SJCX, SC and MAID, study historical charts, read all about the projects, and if/when you feel comfortable take a position.

I thought that Ethereum is a good way to investment cause of it's rising fast. But must be that was that moment when I have just heard this information, it passed several months already from that time.

Yes....It's good to ask questions.  However, always do your own research, and don't get caught up in the hype or fud because they are deceptive practices....Remember, just because a coin is on an upward trend doesn't mean it is a good investment.....you might get caught buying high and selling low!  There's nothing wrong with looking at the coins in red....many times that's where the best money is made....Do you're own research.

Advice: Pay attention to the coin's community support: past, present, and future.

In my opinion the best crypto to buy at the minute depends on you goals.  bitcoin my not be the wisest short term investment but long term it is a cert.  i would also look at maidsafe, sia and storj coin which all have a great future if they can get their respective platforms running full tilt.

Currently Bitcoin is rising and just because of this most of alt coins on drop just because of this in my opinion buying alt coins is not good idea just keep eye on historical charts and then use your own mind its good for you

If you want to earn money within months then its better to invest your money to new potential altcoin. As a newbie too,  i can't determine if a new altcoin has a potential or not but i think somone might help you about this.  But if you want to money in within years or so, then maybe you should invest on bitcoin since its price is very unstable and become more valuable within years.

Yes, I am too buying only bitcoins right now. Usually I do not prefer to invest in any other cryptocurrencies as I had bitter experience with litecoin and doegecoins. But bitcoin always is giving me profits when I am just holding them. In other words if we are buying bitcoins then there would be a minimum guarantee for profit making always.

Right now I would not buy any crypto currency, that includes bitcoin.
The past week the whole market had some bigger price fluctuations, and for me that can only be explained by some large investments.
Unless you know what the investor plans next, I think it would be wise to wait a few days until the dust has settled.

i think that the risk between bitcoin and other alternate coins is actually the same both are really volatile and it's just about how you can manage to make profit and taking advantages of both
when bitcoin is pumped the alternate coins is dumped and vice versa . so, if you feel that bitcoin is dumped move your money to alternate coin

if the bold part is what you seek then stay away from all the alternative cryptocurrencies (altcoins) because they are only for speculation and trading.

if you want to use something as store of value then look for Gold, or even Real Estate!
if you insist on investing in something crypto related then don't think about anything other than "bitcoin" and remember that bitcoin price is still risky.

Definitely Bitcoin. Currently, there are many events which directly affect Bitcoin and make its prices increase significantly. In the past 48 hours, we have seen that Bitcoin has increase more than $120 and people are very happy about that.
However, if you do not like Bitcoin, I think that chronobank.io will be the best option right now. They have put a lot of money in effort in to developing this new coin and after the ICO, I believe that Chrono prices will rise up to the sky

With bitcoin with such high price the altcoins had no time to react to it, soo in the general we saw all coins loosing 4-20% against bitcoin, this just shows that you can predict the market, i wont advice to invest at the moment into any coin, but always look for top 10 traded at poloniex and choose one.

Well if you're going to be purchasing alt coins right now i think we could all agree that btc is on a roll. For the last week i saw dubai coin surge as well as adz but at the moment they're on a decline but btc is sustaining so yeah for now i would suggest btc

If you want an long lasting investment and you want to buy the crypto-currencies that are stable. You can start buying litecoin, doge, eth and other kind of stable coins that are in almost of the markets out there. Their price is lower than before because the price of bitcoin affect a lot for their price since they are altcoins and depending only on the investors of bitcoin.

I think current time does not suit to by any crypto currency, especially bitcoin. Theprice is too high and as we know after every grow goes fall, so it would be very nervous period to you when you will buy bitcoin and will watch how the price is getting down. Better to wait a bit and to read some advices from the professional traders.

agree with you. i will also favour to hold bitcoin only for some time and it will give you a good profit because the price of bitcoin is continuously increasing and hope that this time it will even cross2000 USD level in 2017 therefore holding bitcoin for a long term will be more profitable.
