I think the best move either is to hold for the long term or just sell all if you can profit more than $50 on each bitcoin. but for most people there wont be any significant gain even if they sell all they got, I'd hold on to my bitcoins at least for another 5 years and will try to accumulate more and more over time.
Holding for 5 years does really require strong discipline on yourself not to spend those bitcoin for a longer period of time.It depends on a certain person if he doesnt need too much support from bitcoin earnings then its a good choice to hold off but for some like me i cant really save up too much for long term since i do use it always. Planning to sell bitcoin is just for investors and trader.

I plan to sell when the price of bitcoin is around 10,000 dollars. But that may seem really far fetched but I think it might happen but not in the near future. Bitcoins doesn't have enough supply to supplement the demand for bitcoins of the whole world. Maybe we will all be millionaires when this happens but it would be really far away. Or... the price would really plummet and never come back up and we all lose interest in bitcoins. Who knows...
Ii is with no doubt that we all want to sell bitcoin at a price of 10000 $ but that is not achievable in the near future, and it is true that the bitcoin is limited but who knows maybe in the future a new technology will allow us to have more bitcoin and then what ? the price of the bitcoin will fall and it will be a waste so we should not be greedy.

What is your exit point? Where will you sell your coins? How much % of your stack will you sell?
I am trading on Yobit only, this is where I buy and sell all the coins I'm trading my exit point is when I made 40% of the coins I'm trading,I'm a very cautious trader I make sure that I am always updated on the coin that I'm trading and I seldom engage in pump and dump activity.

That's good, but right now you cannot make calculations of profit margin. Just buying and selling at a little increased price seems to be effective, because when we plan to sell at particular price and hold. We might be the one to loss , because price goes close to the particular price and falls steeply, as everything with bitcoin is unpredictable.

There is some trepidation and excitement for the New Year. I keep wondering, "Is it a bubble?" or "will it continue to rise?" Regardless, I am planning to sell about 30 - 50%. The rest will be held forever. I'm okay with the current price, and if it's a bubble then that'll just mean it's a good time to buy when the dust finally settles. On the other hand, if it continues to rise then, I'd still have the 50%. I'm not too much of risk taker. haha. And I really enjoy using my coins. Of course, there'll be some regrets but, that's just how life is. Can't always have it both ways.

Well I do not think that Bitcoin will touch $1000 because there is lot of selling pressure at the moment so I wanted to sell my coin today at mid night. I think most of people will sell their Bitcoin for 31 December/new year party expenses, every one wanted to enjoy their earned money.

There is a high chance of Bitcoins getting cheaper for large number of peoples will be wanting to sell them, so its tough to reach $1000. If it does best is to watch for few days, maximum week or two and then sell them. Personally I would like to sell few BTC immediately if it touches $1000, or few days after New Year.

Timing is everything, now is not the right time to sell, we see how the price is still going and that reality make us excited to sell for greater profit but we have to remember that patience is virtue and if you want to gain more you need to gamble with the future. We have been here for long and have witnessed how the market move, wait for the right time until the price will start to drop then hit the sell button.

For an active trader, the patience is a profit killer. Just based on the profits ratio I like to keep on selling and buying back in this rally. Yes always want to cover up all ups and downs to maximize profit in this fluctuations. We have been here for long and have witnessed how the market move, wait for the right time until the price will start to drop then hit the sell button.
Right time ? I guess even a ten years experienced professional trader also will be missing that. Just before the turning point is the right time imho. Still we all will miss that most of the times.

Yes you are doing right but when compared with other big exchanges like polo, bittrex they have quite large volumes when compared to yobit. I here many people are saying yobit has all shitcoin only dumping and pumping coins. But according to yobit you cannot make large profits, where as you need to pay more attention to the coins in order to make little profits.

I strongly suggest that bitcoin at first is a currency and secondly is an asset. So every time I use btcs I am in and out. But for people think bitcoin is a commodity the time to sell depends when they had bought the most of their coins. Imo people bought their coins one year or more ago and had as barrier the $1000 have already sold at least the half of their stash the previous month.

If you bought at $450 6 months ago its time to sell for 120% pure profits. holding more will be more challenging just keep watching the market and make sure to exit before the price plummet

The number of people here who have bought at least 1 and have kept it ever since are still few. And isn't it better to just keep it as an asset since the price will not get low that much from the current price so it is impossible to get a huge profit from it if you sell it and buy again. What is your exit point? Where will you sell your coins? How much % of your stack will you sell?

Yes many people wants to add extra budget for their new year expenses so it is okay to thing that many people plans to sell them but it is also the same for some people who wants to buy now as an investment since christmas has passed. Some people might probably have enough money to buy one.

I always sell my bitcoins at the wrong time. I`m always afraid of a price collapse and i sell my btc too fast. I usually sell all my bitcoin savings after i reach a sertain amount.

Being afraid and emotion would really affect you out when you are trading bitcoin.Theres no perfect entry or exit on bitcoin.Selling would really depend on the decision of the holder because some still holds for long term and just waiting for a particular price before they sell off their coins.
