When do you plan to sell?

I do not have any idea to sell, I prefer to save because I know the bitcoin price will continue to go, even though now the price of bitcoin rises I think the future could be more up

That's a good decision, save for the future as it might give us the fortune, we should be proud we have invested our money in a technology that will become the next big thing in the future. Bitcoin is getting more and more popular and we should be seeing that, and because of that it should increase our faith.

yes that is right saving for future is really a good decision, i am hopeful that in future bitcoin is going to give us good profit, i think currently most  of the people are saving bitcoin for future, may be still some people are buying and saving bitcoin for playing gambling and for getting other entertainment but still majority of people are saving it future

Seems like you'll be waiting for quite a long time before that happens. Yeah we hit more than $2,700 at one point this month but it all went down back to $2,300. To double again, that is asking too much and we might not see that as quick. But that's my plan to, but not really 50% of the value. Probably just enough for me to spend on things I like.

I don't think the possibility is that remote dude. Last year i thought that ending this year with 2.5 would be a big achievement already then look at btc now, its even stablized at around 2.3k which is quite high already. So im not too skeptical now about what btc can do because it proved a lot during the first half of this year

It is true that the price of bitcoin will reach to too much value in a few months so if someone have money then they have to put in bitcoin and if someone have bitcoin then they have to hold for longer. If you will continue to hold your bitcoins for the next few years and keep increasing their amounts every month or year so you can have more chance to have a great growth in your bitcoin portfolio. The price of bitcoin could possible reach $100,000 after at least 10 years from now because of the decrease of the supply and the difficulty to get bitcoin and also at the same time the global adoption.

Yes that price of bitcoin is very far to happen for now but I know there will be a day that we'll see the price of bitcoin at that value. one of the good idea . Its better to sell your 50% bitcoin once the bitcoin price reach at $5000 and I think it will happen maybe in this year 2017 or maybe in the next year 2018 . And your remaining 50% hold for few years atleast 5 years for sure you will earn a lot of money after that. Sell your other 50% I think when the pruce reach 10,000 dollars . But its up to you how much do you want to sell your bitcoin the important is you gain profit.

Selling for me depends on the motive of my holding or accumulation. If I am taking it as an investment, I won't sell it now, would wait. And I also believe as others said, that it has potential to touch great heights. But I also have some Bitcoins which I earn or acquire, to use it to spend.

Well you are very much optimistic about the BTC price I am not saying that it is bad but expecting such a high level that you talked of $40K is too much. There was a novel in my high school curriculum name “The great expectation”. Your this much expectation level reminded me the novel lolz. I have experienced it that with each price raise you will be told that look if u had them now. If you had the intentions to earn profits through speculations then I won't call it the wrong move but if it was the part of a panic sell then it's not much appreciated. Considering the long term I believe that bitcoin would fetch $5K in next few years and current price volatility shouldn't affect our decision if we are considering the long term. This is my personal opinion and I might be completely wrong.

yes that is right that if you have secure some profit then it is good to sell, but i think you still need to study the market and take a decision according to your study. i think in present time as most of the people are trying to hold their bitcoin and not going to sell so you also need to follow them, although you can take your own decision but still we need to think about the other opinion also.

I need to, because I have seen the very potential of bitcoin to reach it's price up to the best and new ATH that it can reach. I don't have an idea what that novel is but yeah it's a great expectation but it needed a lot of time before we are going to see the price of bitcoin at that good rate. Well, if not because of the present circumstances that will push me to sell my bitcoin by next week, my initial plan was to hold my bitcoin till the 2018 and see what future hold for the value of Bitcoin before thinking of maybe selling 50% of my bitcoin. But am being force with the present circumstances to sell 35% of my bitcoin to enable me meet up with the challenges. So, currently am trying to get a good local exchanger that will buy it at black market price of at least 30% increase of the international value of Bitcoin.
