Don't worry, press coverage will start soon enough - probably after Bitcoin reaches 4 digits. Although there is some reporting, it's actually good that journalists are still sleeping. Rallies fueled by mass media are the least sustainable. Uninformed people that only buy because of greed triggered by mainstream media tend to be quickly disappointed. We don't need that.
In my opinion the recent price moves are driven by real demand - mostly from India. So I would think that this rally is a bit more sustainable than the previous mega-bubble.

Its a chinese exchange pump, don't fool yourself lol People from India here tell that Bitcoin remains largely unknown to wider masses of Indian population, though it doesn't mean that what we see nowadays is necessarily a price manipulation by large Chinese exchanges. That remains to be seen, and we should just wait a few days or a few weeks at most to actually see that before making a definitive conclusion. If this rise will be followed by a commensurate drop, then it is going to be a typical pump and dump scheme... Most likely doctored by the Chinese price manipulators

This is true but I’m sure those that are traders of bitcoin and not holders will love to get the media involved somehow since that will make the price of bitcoin soar by those late comers that try to get a profit.

The mainstream worldwide media has a different agenda and bitcoin is not a part of it because bitcoin frees people from financial constraints. The irony is that when the poor succeed everyone succeeds and bitcoin can help this.

This is somewhat true due to all the major media outlets being owned by the elite but there are enough internet news sites that publish censorship free articles and those are the ones we will see start to advertise bitcoin as a safe alternative to fiat cash first.

Its a chinese exchange pump, don't fool yourself lol This is true. We are slowly beginning to be in a bubble as it once was during the end of 2013. I wonder what "real" demand is yayayo talking about because the only organic growth where it is happening is in the dark markets. As long as there are drug addicts willing to use Bitcoin and criminals willing to to take it as payment, there will be some demand for it as a currency. So far that demand is not as big as everyone would like to imagine.

I don't know what to say because even yourself, a Bitcoin user, only think of us as a whole that we are bad guys. How can we have more press coverage if ourselves think that the currency we use can only be use by criminals?

yeah from what I've been seeing about this in the news and the press..is they just figure BTC will just dump again and are holding their water till that happens then play the 'btc fail' press fud again. If it goes over say 1250 or some such in beginning of the year..then you may see a change..but before they pay attention again (press) and stick their necks out that BTC may actually WORK....it will likely be imho after the all time high of 2013 has been breached. Until then they will simply say it is a pump to play it safe and wait for a dump to say I told you so

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

The average news day is murder, bizarre death, failure, crash, murder, bizarre death, failure, crash, murder, cute crippled puppy saved by fireman. Bitcoin only falls in there when it's bad news unless someone can find a way for Bitcoin to save a lost crippled puppy.

I did not read Wind_FURY comment in that way, he is not promoting bitcoin adoption by criminals and their clients he is simply recognizing the reality on the ground, that an important part of the bitcoin moving is doing so because of the dark web markets. I don't like it but it is the truth.

Here we go guys. We're getting a lot more mainstream news now!! http://www.cnbc.com/2016/12/29/forget-about-dow-20k-bitcoin-is-about-to-hit-1000.htmlI love how these morons start with "Bitcoin, the controversial digital currency" can a currency really be controversial? Really? That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard in my life. Oh and here's another gem by some "expert" "Not yet," Colas said when asked if bitcoin had achieved legitimacy as a system of payment or currency. "It will be mainstream when you can walk into a bank and order a bitcoin account. We're not close to that yet." Can I have 1 bitcoin bank account plox? I'd also like some hot snow and some soft razor blades. Thanks a million (bitcoins).

Have you tried switching channels? Personally, I don't have a TV altogether, and you may want to throw away yours. Whenever I see a TV broadcast somewhere, I feel loathe by the amount of advertising being thrown on me as well as the way the information is being fed. It is intended to hit mainly on emotions, not caring much about factual content and its authenticity (as well as impartial coverage), and you can't efficiently and coherently process what is actually being told to you. I understand that otherwise it would be boring, and ordinary people would simply turn off their TVs, but if I want emotions, I'd rather watch a movie (with no ads either)

There is no press coverage, because its a up and down with bitcoin at the moment.
I can bet that the press over the world will write about bitcoin, when it will reach a all time high, this mean about 1.160 Dollar, so dont worry about it.
