Ok, to begin with, CGMiner requires Zadig to connect via USB, if I recall correctly. You can get Zadig at http://zadig.akeo.ie/. IF you use BFGMiner, you do not need Zadig. I use BFGMiner for my Gridseed. If your Gridseed is this one https://www.amazon.com/Gridseed-Blade-Scrypt-Asic-5-5MHs/dp/B00KYG2NHI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1482654204&sr=8-1&keywords=gridseed+blade, the command below should work (it does on mine). One thing to remember, if using notepad or similar to make a batch file, make sure word wrap is off. Everything but pause should be on one line. Also remember to use your worker name and password for Multipool. bfgminer --scrypt -S gridseed:all --set-device gridseed:clock=825 -o stratum+tcp://us-east.multipool.us:7777/#skipcbcheck -u (Replace with your worker username for Multipool) -p (Replace with your worker password for Multipool) -o stratum+tcp://us-west.multipool.us:7777/#skipcbcheck -u (Replace with your worker username for Multipool) -p (Replace with your worker password for Multipool) pause

Look at "SETTING UP USB DEVICES" at the official GitHub page for CGMiner located at https://github.com/ckolivas/cgminer regarding USB connections requiring Zadig. It's about half way down the page. Also, according to https://litecoin.info/Mining_software CGMiner 3.7.2 is the last version to support GPU/scrypt mining. Newer versions are unable to use your Gridseed at all.

I would use BFG if i was you it works better and is a lot easier to set up and try this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=596620.0 and spend like maybe 40 bucks for a Raspberry PI kit and you have a controller that will run it all or all most any thing for a while and use a lot less power then a windows box. for BFG you may need these drivers for windows not all ways but you may . http://www.silabs.com/products/mcu/Pages/USBtoUARTBridgeVCPDrivers.aspx CGMiner Drivers http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/zadig/Try not to mix those drivers on a windows box it might brick the windows install and you have to reinstall windows . Don't try CGMINER 4.10, it won't work because cgminer no longer supports Script miners and hasn't for a year or two that's about how old the CGMINER 3.7.2 is, while BFG https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=877081.0 always has and still does. CGMINER 4.10 is what you get now if you compile you own software miners, if you see it only posted at 3.9.2

What version of Windows are you using? I have v8.1 Pro, and my Gridseed blade is running just fine with the command I gave you. I didn't need to install any drivers (though it may have downloaded some). The other thing you can try is to use MultiMiner located at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=248173.0. It uses BFGMiner, but does all the locating of miners, and configuring BFGMiner automatically. I had good luck with it when I've run into troubles getting something to work.

if you have adequate cooling, gridseed chips can generally operate between 950-1050Mhz stable.... I typically got 1.5-2Mh off of 4 orbs.... (20 chips)
USe the zadig driver to update the driver per-device and try again.
If you have a Raspberry Pi, Id suggest downloading the Minera RaPi image. It's pre-configured, and easy to set up.
I use the manual string as posted above, and use the regular cpuminer version that comes pre-compiled with the image. Works with every gridseed device I have ever plugged into it. It also was able to control my U3's when I had them.

Yes, minerA is waaaay better from my tests in the past.
Once you get the proper miner config set up its stable and self-sufficient.

yeah thaht's miner only for testing. you can mine 8 euro of litecoin in one month if always on
have you linked it to a raspberry o to a pc? if you run it into a pc don'forget to update drivers before conneccting it elsewhere it can ruin.
if you have raspberry download minera latest build it has the last miner for it
if yu had this low hasrate you should do like they said try it................ i had 5,2 mh with one of this gridseed but it's no anymore profitable in 2017

or try settings then local miner there is a list with a drop down with four different software miners to the right you can try either cgminer dmaxl Zeus or BFG Miner the CGMNIER listed won't work that's the master version of CGminer or most up date version that had script miners removed after 4.7.2 ,it's maybe at 4.9.2 or 4.1.0 which has no Script support, SO it won't work but BFG or cgminer dmaxl Zeus will then under either of those is a Per configured list click it should being up a drop down with a list that usually works out the box . make sure to read the list to see what miner fits what settings, it should put you on the miner even if you Picked BFG lets say if the settings match anther miner it will pick that miner. hope this helps . I never had much luck using CPUMINER you have picked in the Screen shot you posted . one others thing in case BFG or cgminer dmaxl Zeus are not installed which happens some times even with the per made image . you may need putty so you can log into your PI form a windows PC if so download it here : https://winscp.net/eng/download.php#putty to find out what the IP is for the PI use this http://www.advanced-ip-scanner.com/The USER and PASSWORD to login on the PI is minera for both, then use this command below, it should list all the miners Minera can download for use . cd /var/www/minera ./build_miner.sh Miner Names: cgminer cgminer official cpuminer cpuminer GC3355 fork bfgminer bfgminer official cgminer-dmaxl cgminer dmaxl fork (gridseed and zeus support) all build all the above then to up date or install one of them or all use : cd /var/www/minera ./build_miner.sh bfgminer or cd /var/www/minera ./build_miner.sh cgminer-dmaxl
if you use ALL it can take a while cd /var/www/minera ./build_miner.sh all
thanks top .
