I believe we will pass 1000 $ within a few days, could be tomorrow even. Then we will struggle for a few weeks to break ATH. If that happens there is no telling where this is going. Moon is a posibility. After living through both bubbles of 2013 I know how explosive bitcoin can move.

But I guess some people will wait for new ATH. Because last time when bitcoin was hitting four digit price level for the first time, it was not immediately taking U turn. I'm expecting same to happen like bitcoin may set a new all-time new high price levels this time too. At the same time, it may continue its rarely if new people keep on coming to invest in.

Not easy to tell. The dump will follow but maybe not very big and not immediately after hiting 1000$. I expect to go above 1000 for a hundred dollars or two and then a minor correction could follow. But again that depends on so many factors on the market.

The price of bitcoin is keep increasing really it is very hard to predict because user base for bitcoin community keep increasing.When there is an huge demand for bitcoin and the supply of coins is very less means than definitely the price will increase. I'm hoping for the same pattern as we've seen around christmas evening!
We dropped from 920 to the high 850s and bounced back up pretty fast and strong, continuing the uptrend.
So imo we shouldn't go lower than 920 from the top which had been 980.Right now we are back up to 950.
Would be awesome to see an attempt to pass the 1000 with the beginning of the new year.
Let's see how it will play out the next 2-3 days.

Which instantly tells me the whales know this and are ready for that which is why they have taken it so high to begin with. That sell 1k sell off from Joe could hurt a lot of people when it rockets like never before. 1-0 to the pumpers.

No, it still rises up and now there are not any obstacles to stop the price unless hacking big exchanges or political issues.

Every exchange employee/operator with access to all the real time information, is purely basing its trades on the information that no one else but themselves have access to. In that regard, every exchange can be held responsible for allowing whatever entity to make use of insider information. If I was in such a position, then I would of course gladly welcome every bit of insider information that will help me to maximize my profits. It happens everywhere.

You know what? Fuck I don't even know. I distance myself from bitcoin for a few months, and next thing you know this shit happens. I'm considering even buying tonight (1:45am atm) and selling in the morning. Bitcoin has been nothing but a roller coaster ride of emotions and FOMO and regret ugh.

I damn hope it slows down before it goes "to the moon" or some shit because I'd like to finally profit off of this to some extent. I'm currently at a $200 loss so I don't really consider myself a trader.

To answer your question though, I think we'll rise until mid January or something. Kinda wanting to buy right now but I'm also trying to keep my emotions in check before I do anything with large amounts of money.

It is impressive to be at a $200 loss when the price is at a 3 year high.  If you locked in profits at a lower level, I wouldn't consider that a loss, just a missed opportunity.  If you tried to short Bitcoin, then hopefully you learned a lesson.  Now is not the time for that.

It was something like shorting, it was definitely a hard lesson to learn. The $200 loss is just a lot more heartbreaking if you think of what it's value could've been by now if I just hodl'd it.
