User is trying to refuse escrow. He didn't want to USE OGNasty as an escrow, although he is advertising him in the thread. Then I said that MJ will be the middleman and that he'll forward the package to me. But he kind of refused and asked me if I would release the bitcoin once he sends me the tracking info. He wanted that the escrow will be made public and that MJ MUST release the bitcoins once the tracking says "delivered" Very suspicious activity in my opinion. 0.43 I offer for all
Edit, if you want to sell the lealana by itself, I'll offer 0.15 for that.

MJ receives the coins, he releases the bitcoins, and reships the coin to me? You're trying to avoid it by adding unnecessary things (release on tracking number, sending me video of packaging, public escrow sht) and telling me that you cannot use OG as an escrow.

(I would offer you 0.03 btc on the ravenbit. How much for shipping to Austria?) I'll offer 0.42 for everything, plus shipping to Austria.
I would accept that if you paid for shipping to austria, and I guess it depends on the way I send it I will PM you more details .41 but I also want your forum account as part of the deal.
why on earth would I sell my account you need money.. and for 0.01 its a small price to pay for you to not be posting. actually ill make it 0.45 total for it all, including your account so I dont have to see your name in every thread No thank you, however, I would agree to not post on this site for .15 BTC a month. PM me and let me know if you are interested 0.5BTC for everything - including your account. you must also request to be IP Banned, then you can take your shit to the Litecoin forum. No thank you, but I will lower my offer to .10 btc per month to not post on the forum. Holy $h1t! Having to pay somebody to not post on the forum on a monthly basis?!? Is this a new form of reverse extortion? Haven't heard of that one before. User is trying to refuse escrow. He didn't want to USE OGNasty as an escrow, although he is advertising him in the thread. Happy to accept coins for reshipping/escrow purposes..... going to grab more popcorn AWESOME. I am so happy you posted that I am going to quote you and put that in the OP incase people do not go to the second page, this is the best news I have heard all day. Because I was under the impression that how normally escrow works like this Me You Escrow You send BTC to escrow I send you the package I update you and escrow with tracking number, escrow releases btc however, I have learned that escrow can possibly be you send btc to escrow I send you package you receive package you update me and escrow that contents are valid escrow releases btc however, I do not see how escrow protects me in the second situation because who ever I sent the package too can just say I sent a rock or something two weeks ago i learned that it could also be you send btc to escrow I send coins to escrow escrow reships coins escrow releases btc however, then this puts the BTC and items in the escrow hands so the escrow would have to be trustworthy and also in this situation it allows for more error, and damage to the package because I recently purchased the binary eagle and the case was damaged from the escrow to me, so I am SOL in that situation because the seller isnt going to fix an issue that was caused by the escrow and the escrow should be punished for the USPS damaging the item?

Killyou, stop.....take a breath. This is how most every transaction goes:
You make a deal with you, the buyer, and escrow in a pm Buyer agrees Escrow gives a btc address to buyer Buyer sends btc to escrow escrow confirms payment You send product to buyer Buyer gets product and alerts escrow escrow sends btc to you
This is the basic norm of business here. Anything other then that is suspicious, and not of the "normal".
Hope this helps

yes but see I do not see a point in using escrow because than I am relying on the honesty of the buyer. I am going to be using this type of escrow for my trades you send btc to escrow I send coins to escrow escrow reships coins escrow releases btc

yes but see I do not see a point in using escrow because than I am relying on the honesty of the buyer. In that case, you might think about videotaping yourself while packing the goods, including a clear shot of the shipping label, so in case of any dispute (given the buyers missing "honesty"), you can provide sufficient proof to the escrow that you held up your end of the deal, so that he can still release the btc to you. I am going to be using this type of escrow for my trades you send btc to escrow I send coins to escrow escrow reships coins escrow releases btc
I guess this is possible ^ assuming the escrowing person wants to reship the coins. Not to mention who bears the cost of the double shipping costs? You? The buyer? Both? I've used this with Minerjones recently for an auction I won. Since the seller was based in the US anyway and I prefer to get stuff shipped internationally in batches, rather than one by one, it was the obvious thing to do. I think it depends on the situation, but it's one way to go for sure.

Given that sales are often made here in 10's of bitcoins, rather than 1/10ths of bitcoins, this all appears to be getting out of hand.
The escrow is the trusted third party, and independant arbiter in case of dispute. Escrow is there to provide protection to both seller and buyer. Generally they would only handle the digital coins rather than a physical item.
BUT If buyer cannot trust seller to ship the item, rather than an empty box. And / or seller cannot trust the buyer to confirm delivery of the item, rather than an empty box ... then the escrow can be used to relay the physical item also. This is not generally how it is done, but it can be, if needs be.
At no point should escrow ever be released on being provided a tracking number only. The recieving party (or their proxy the escrow, in the second escrow scenario) should always be able to validate the goods recieved, prior to escrow funds being released.
If a deal cannot be reached in any of those models, then there isnt a deal to be had.

This thread is getting a little out of hand despite its entertainment value. Why can't you just use a middleman to receive the goods? On a side note, how much for the Sol Noctis coin with shipping to the UK? Thanks
