The rise of the price could be related to the popularity of bitcoin but for real there isn't one factor that can explain the positive move but it is an accumulation of many such as the devaluation of fiat,...etc

Devaluation of fiat doesn't make a big impact upon the price movement, it the miners along with we users and big traders who were continued participants of bitcoin is responsible. Most of the users were waiting to experience $1000 per bitcoin, but often price getting close and sustaining around $950-960. Lets hope for the best by the new year start.

Current price is good to secure profits or to just keep holding your coins. I wouldn't want to find myself buying at current levels as result of having missed the opportunity to buy at prices far below the current levels months ago. According to bitcoin many people have big views that china is controlling the bitcoin, even i don't agree that because not only china even many other countries have involved in mining and making bitcoin for them. True . There were many people who are not believing that bitcoin will truly hit the said price until it happened and to honest I am one of them, I am not convinced before that it will surely happen because I am looking at its price it was only on $700 and there's only a small increase everyday so I thought it will only $800 at the end of the year . Many people were surprised for sure when bitcoin hit to even more price than what they are expecting .

1000 dollars wasn't even that hard to reach, we came back from all time high 1200's actually. It's 920 now, we will see 4 digits next month or 2 for sure. Chinese have new year so market volume is lower than usual right now. After they open and volume come a balanced upper move will happen. Graphics show us a narrow band between 912 and 924. It needs to break 930's first.
