Sooner or later the price of byteball will rice. But i think there will be big blood when the airdrop phase is over. There will be a dump, but im sure with these dev we can only go up after all these weak hands are shaked out. So guys, just hold your Byteballs

nah. they've very wisely slowed the airdrops down. they'll probably taper down further. by the time it's over there should hopefully be some real usage and real demand from buyers and users.

I think it was a really good move on the part of the dev to slow it down. It will help avoid or minimize price dump on the next succeeding distribution.

Byteball has done its share of flying. Before, it has began with a 0.02 BTC price. Today, it is somewhere around 0.09 BTC. There is still some high probability that this GBYTE will still increase in price considering the heights that it previously achieved. But it is somewhere in the middle right now. A much lower point is better for buyers.

I think price bottom is 350-400$ , and then will growth to 700-800, maybe. But gbyte seems not reliably

I am not on the exchanges where GBYTE is traded, so I don't know the situation there - but in the in-wallet Exchange Bot there's only a moderately thick wall of 12-13GB in 85-99mBTC range.
The rest of sell orders are much higher, with the next wall of roughly same size at 0.18456!
Market is very quiet, a large buyer with like 15BTC can move it x2 in no time.

But there are also many people with "completely free" coins accumulated, they may continue to dump so it can go both ways.

It is not just the existing sell orders. There are people on the sidelines who are ready to sell their coins, if the price increases sufficiently.
You will find a lot more sellers entering the market once the price starts moving upwards.

For now, only the transactional part (bytes) seems to be a really strong point. But competition in this field is fierce (newest contender is HCash) and there is every reason to think that the concept of no fees (IOTA, RaiBlocks) will win out if payment speed and reliability are solved. For the rest, there is Bitcoin and Monero/Dash.

I really can't see HCash as a contender. Just another very dodgy ICO without anything substantial to offer.

I've just checked HCash and it's looks like as a complete scam! It's not a competitor to any serious project...

It is not just the existing sell orders. There are people on the sidelines who are ready to sell their coins, if the price increases sufficiently.
You will find a lot more sellers entering the market once the price starts moving upwards.

Yes the price could be hovering that low or even lower for many more months to come. And the longer this will be the case the more people will lose faith and start do dump the few byteball they own and have hold for so many months. It could end as one of those coins who is just keeps fading over the years.

my reason is that this time the way they distribute the coins has changed a lot. before it was a big reward for the bitcoin's you owned and a decent reward for the GBYTEs you owned. but this upcoming round is very different because they will give you a tiny reward for the bitcoins you own and a huge reward for every GBYTE you own.

this can potentially create some incentive to buy more byteball to get a bigger profit out of it. and in the long run your total profit will be a lot bigger with the next rally that Byteball will have.

(you will also get a lot of BlackBytes which have a decent price)

Oh so that is why I got a tiny reward for more than 10 BTC worth of linked addresses? I got like 20 bucks out of 10+ BTC, that was depressing.
But this means that now I will get a lot more in the next airdrop due the GBYTE im holding now?

But doesn't this mean that, these that managed to get into the earlier airdrops, will get a ton more GBYTE? Because they already got a lot of GBYTE from the previous airdrops...

It sucks that if I did an airdrop away I could have gotten a lot of GBYTE, but like I said I got like 10 20 bucks for 10+ BTC which is stupid low. Honestly I think they have fucked up the distribution model, this doesn't make sense to me.
