Are the AE tokens on HitBTC legit?, I participated on the ICO, but would like to get more AE before it hit main exchanges. Thank you!
It's basically a preorder of tokens from HitBTC. They join the ICO and buy a fairly large amount of AE tokens and then list them on their exchange on a pretty high price even before the token distribution. People who pre ordered AE tokens from them will probably get what they paid for, but it's not a very smart idea since AE might actually be cheaper when it hits real exchanges. |

Someone can explain to me that I could contribute aeternity in the future that does not contribute Ethereum.
- State channels: Ethereum will also have them with the Raiden network.
- Decentralized Oracles: The Gnosis platform based on ethereum will allow all Ether users to act as decentralized oracles for the applications developed under the Gnosis platform.
- Name System: Ethereum also has a naming system for all its Ether addresses.
If to all these characteristics that have both networks in common you add the enormous advantage that Ethereum has against Aeternity in terms of applications developed on its layer, nodes that use the Ethereum network and the enormous network effect that has the Ethereum network, All this leads me to wonder why Aeternity and not Ethereum?

Probably we will see announcement for distribution of tokens and exchanges at the same time. It has taken more than expected time to complete the security review and audit of the contract. I do think over the next few hours updates will be released by the team. We all are in same boat of waiting for news. |

It seems that situation is already becoming favorable for aeternity blockchain to replace the existed problematic smart contractors by giving them one for all good working solution. I am excited now even more and can't wait anymore to see things workable sooner as possible.

Yes, once they finish the audit process definitely they will give an update on the distribution of token and the same time listing in the exchanges also. Mainly audit will conduct for listing in the bigger exchange purpose only, so in order to provide more security features for the blockchain. |

Everyone,
We are currently working on the auditing of the AE token and the preparation of the smart contract that will distribute it to the contributors. Due to the high number of participants, the smart-contract programming is proving a bigger challenge than expected. The task is made even more difficulat by the fact that these AE ERC20 tokens will need to be burned after mainnet launch in 2018. Nonetheless, we are making progress everyday. There is nothing to be worried about.
About the Ledger -> we have already sent out 500 Ledgers. The next batch should commence shipping by the end of this month.

Try it again. How long has it been? Aight, thanks, tried again and this time I received the mail which said I will have further info soon. Last time I tried it was probably 2 weeks ago or so. |
