That is a really good question. I also would be interested in the result of the audit process. So, if anyone could provide some information, I would be very grateful. can anybody summarize what the audit process is that we are waiting on here? when we get the erc20 token？
they are auditing the audit, then when that is done probably another audit. maybe xmas 2019? Also, I would like to know if there are any news when the signature campaign bounties will be distributed. I've read the thread through the last pages and there seems to not be any specific information about it. Hey Arsenal, The winners from the bounties/contests will receive their AE token with the general ERC20 AE distribution that we are working on. We have prepared the volume/address pair on those and their were added to distribution contract. Regads, Vlad |

Timing does not matter. Development does. Keep your promises, distribute tokens, and work hard to implement everything you want in aeternity. Also, if you delay distribution due to market situation, it can be considered price speculation, and that is bad. |

Hi Vlad, Sounds intelligent to think about it. Advantage of waiting till ETH is back over USD 300 means a nice starting price, on the other hand, a low starting price gives an opportunity to buy cheap more AE from the ones who rapidly want to make a profit of their ICO investments. I am an early investor of the first hours of phase 1 (Thanks for the Ledger  ) and I can hardly wait to see Aeternity project reaches the stars, so I will try to get more part of it whenever I can. As a result, Vlad, no matter how you decide, I am sure it will be the best balance for Aeternity AND the Investors. To everyone: Keep calm and think big! Best regards "Earl of AE Ledger" |

I don't have a problem with waiting for the tokens. But there should be regular communication and updates on the work being done, on all communication channels. And a release date for the tokens should be set so everyone knows what to expect. It does all depend on the expectations created for the community though, I can't see much here that would lead investors to think they should have been distributed already. But then I'm not sure there was anything to suggest it would be a long wait either. |

You should just distribute the ERC20 tokens (or forget about the ERC20 tokens and just release the real AE tokens when the mainnet launches). The price and what not is irrelevant if Zach (and co) deliver a good product. Everyone,

I will say yes to waiting for at least 2 weeks more and let the storm disappear and things to come clearly visible. It has no sense of releasing now because then listing will be inevitable at exchanges which means just making the situation more worse. In August distribution if happens will be great timing in calm and sure way.

At the moment I would like to propose 2 good szenarios:
1. Release the ERC20 Tokens on 27 july 2017 by announcing it on 20 july 2017 at the latest (including exchanges, at least kraken).
2. (Specially if Mainnet launch may already comes till 31 october 2017) wait till mainnet launch. In this case please announce it as well then, if possible.
But one thing shall keep in mind no matter what will be done, the safekeeping of a successfull running of OUR Aeternity project(s!) MUST HAVE THE HIGHEST PRIORITY!
The experts of Aeternity with Yani at its top will know when and what to do. I mean, if you follow up the different channels, it is clear to see, that they are not slow, but moreover impressively quick, so I would not wonder if mainnet would run till october 31st this year.
Of course, please comment more, but please not hystericly, so we all can get a better pic of what the most contributors want and how Aeternity Team acts.
Aeternity is not just anything, it's the BEGINNING. Maybe next year we will see ICOs which collect AE not ETH.

Ya real smart releasing tokens now when everything has been in red...with Aug 1st coming up AE should hold off from distributing tokens until after that. Worst thing that they can do is release tokens now, to be frank they shouldn't release anything until main net is launched. I honestly prefer waiting for AE network to be live then to have to deal with another fucken Eth token. Sorry but you sir will not be panic selling your tokens now...you clearly haven't seen how ICOs have been doing when listed on exchanges mainly Eth tokens... |

I see some very good point raised here. Contrary to what some people believe, we are working quite hard to build up the dev team and have the AE testnet/pre-mainnet running. It is important to have it so apps can be built on top by our commencing incubator program (which is also something being worked on currently).
The above are just examples of the different processes that we are currently engaged in and how they are interlinked. There are numerous others.
Please have in mind that we are trying to make aetenrity a success and take the right decisions on the path there. The team has been in crypto for years now and we believe in the blockchain vision. We want to change the world and make our community part of that success.
Earl mentioned that aeternity is OUR project (the community) and he is 100% correct.
Repeating and constantly asking "Where is our AE token" does not help at all.
Deliberating on the consequences of doing so is more valuable. I wanted to learn what you, the community here at Bitcointalk, thinks is best.
As far as I can see there are the "I want my AE token now" and the "Maybe it is not a good time".
I will communicate this to team.
