Is the team mulling to go for the legal recourse to try to recover the money since the amount lost is huge

"Around 82,000 ETH (of 102,000 ETH) sent to æternity during Phase 2 were sent by an attacker to address 0xB3764761E297D6f121e79C32A65829Cd1dDb4D32 via an internal transaction. All other funds (ETH and BTC) of the æternity project are safe! The æternity development operations will continue as usual."
Lol, these idiots lost 100k of our eth, but everything is safe.
"All OTHER funds (ETH and BTC) of the æternity project are safe!"... *When you just to read line above to avoid cheap manipulations

Let me jolt this down without any fluff.
Basically, phase one investors had their sakes saturated without any tangible contribution from phase two holders.
I feel your pain, the takeaway lesson here is to divert across many coins. Learn and move on.

No, same outcome but caused by different situation. poteto/potato Early investors (phase one/pre list) saturated because of some kind of hack ( whom to blame/reasons are irrelevant to outcome for early investor(me) ). *edit: We are talking about "saturation" of early investors

In very short time there have been at least 2 reported cases which have damaged the innovative projects reputation. It is a failure of these genius minded coders/experts who claim to provide solutions for issues whereas they are not capable to review the wallets where they store or use to keep the funds. All will be settled down and recovered over the time but it is a big question mark on their capabilities.

Everyone,
I can confirm. We lost the Phase 2 ETH due to a bug in Parity 1.5 (or later).
We still have all ETH from Phase 1 and all BTC.
Development will continue unaffected.
You will get all AE tokens.
Official statement coming a few minutes.
We will deal with this and push forward.

It seems that all the hacked funds will be returned to their owners. This is whatever I read at twitter through some shared posts. The claim that they secured the funds and will transfer sooner to these campaigns owners. We can not do anything except waiting for next updates. Things are messed up right now nothing is concrete to believe at the moment. https://etherscan.io/address/0x1dba1131000664b884a1ba238464159892252d3a

For this address yes, but not for the other address which Yani mentioned. The one to which the AE funds of 82 K ETH have been gone, they are lost, as long the Black Hat Hacker would send it back. Or does anybody know a way to get such funds back from black hat hackers? Zack Hess says no on twitter.

Or does anybody know a way to get such funds back from black hat hackers? Zack Hess says no on twitter. Everyone, Here is an update: 1. We have lost 1/3 of all ETH. This will not stop us building æternity! We might cut some programs that are not essential to development and may need to attract support in the future, but that will be way after mainnet launch. Everyone will get their AE tokens, 100%.2. There is a proposal for "socializing the losses" between all projects that could have been affected if the White Hat team did not save them and the hardest hit projects (one of which is aeternity). READ MORE3. Hacker(s) are trying to move the funds through Changelly. We are in contact with the Changelly team. READ MOREYanislav and Marion are in meetings all day. Once we have more info, we will share. Thank you for your continued support. The true value of a community becomes evident in times like this. Regards, Vlad
