Whats the reason there's no official answer about the whole zack thing?

I am trying to get official information about the situation, but have so far received none.

I fully understand how you guys feel, but I am only the communications manager and can only provide with info that I am myself provided with.

I am sure that once the team has official statement/information on the issue, they will share it with me and I will send it to all of you.

I have requested a statement more than once already. They know you want it.

probably he can't respond and gives you advice for an IOU token, what you will do it's up to you but from what I saw before most of IOU token were overvalued..

Better sell it, as they will be burned soon. Anyway after launch, the price will be dumped hard, it will be under ico phase 1 price because there is too many "GOOD" news: 2 hacks, Zack, the lead Dev may have left the team.And also against the backdrop of the revelations of some agorism1337, who says that he didnt got pay wages and although was one of the leading developers of the project kernel. They didn't generate even token yet how can someone sell you private key ? It is possible only when AE token will come into existence. As many people have told but not recommended that you can have only IOU tokens on hitbtc at the moment. In a week Ae tokens will be generated and distributed but then you may be able to buy directly from exchange.

Ok, so what I was able to learn from the team is that Zack will continue his work on his own, we have a new CTO and the team is preparing an official statement regarding the dev team, including partnerships and a lot of new tech talent.

Heads up for clearing the situation and will be waiting for the announcement about full team members soon. That is right github is busy because development is going on. Aeternity came out to change old smart contracts and to introduce new chain but it is surrounded by issues since day 1st. I hope all to finish soon and development to be accelerated to complete the product.

The new setup is not 100% finalized, that's why there hasn't been an official statement.
The talks/new arrangement with zack are/is not finalized, that's why there is no update. There will be a change but again it's not set in stone yet.
There is no intention to hide any changes nor any reason to be worried that the development of æternity will have a set back or problem.
We will arrange a Q&A with Joel the new interim CTO so everyone can get to know him.
Please wait for an official statement about changes regarding Zack or new hires.

Unbelievable.

So now we are 4 months in and in a much worse place than at the start (ie, almost no visible progress other than Zack's work, which has now become Aeternity's competitor).

There's $50 million floating about. Almost none of it has been used so far for some reason.

How about a commitment to using that money, including a specification of the budgets. Like every other ICO has.
Aeternity can still become a success, but only if the money is used. And I'm not sure anyone believes it will be.

And otherwise, people are going to think that the intention is for someone to keep that money. I'm sure there will be people looking with a fine toothcomb at any possible criminal aspects of this ICO and that is just going to make things worse.

An agreement made and published.

This will not only fix the project but get us out of the continual negative "investor vs aeternity" situation

How can someone expect unaffected development will be carried on when there are so many deep internal issues in this project. These are someone well informed people who come here and through burning news and then official representative gives explanations. Why community,investors and supporters are not informed directly. Clarity and transparency last long and key to success doubts kill the success.
