Moonlite is not redeemable currently and people don't want to mine it.
And don't understand new ideas.
It will be redesigned to be easier to understand. Also there are some ideas how to make it redeemable.

Since 2013, when Mooncoin was launched and became one of the most famous Scrypt Proof-of-Work coins,
many coins tried to use its glory for building their own project with a similar name:
BitMoon
DarkMoon
Moincoin
MoonStone
Lunarcoin
Lunacoin
etc.
Usually these coins have a quick success at launch, and then stagnation and dying.
And people madly buy them at launch and then lose money, again and again.
Of course it's clear that traders hope to make a quick buck, buying a coin at launch,
and they don't believe in its bright future, they want just to sell it before other people do it.
But they forget that other people (who buy a coin at launch) think in the same way.
Why? Why not just to join a time-tested, stable Mooncoin project?
MOON is a sleeping giant, and you can build a lot of projects in the Moon ecosystem, instead of starting your own coin.
Mooncoin (like Bitcoin) was designed to be flexible. The Moonlite platform only hints at what will be possible in the future.

they didn't know how to help its holders and suggested to burn their STRB coins and give them instead some good coins (e.g. MOON) just to help these people a little.
There are many holders of STRB from different countries and if we agree to help them and to donate some MOON,
they can join our community. What do you think?

How much MOON would be needed? If it is a lot of MOON then it could crash the market when they get it and dump it. That depends on us. Nova currently offered STRB holders 1 MOON for 950,000 STRB, not sure how many STRB they have in total, they hope to receive 10-20 million MOON, also some other coins, and after that they plan to burn all broken STRB... Yes, STRB holders can dump received MOON, on the other hand each of them will not receive a lot and probably will read our ANN first and will see that holding MOON is not a bad idea (unlike all these stake coins with large percent). |
