True yo can bet bigger if you have deposit bonus and your profit might be bigger as well at the time you bet, but the profit is nothing if you have not meet the wagering requirement yet and most likely you will lose all your bonus + initial deposit before completing the wagering requirement.

Most companies, even in real world, have a lot of promotions is mainly due to either want to increase their profit or to increase the presence of their company to grow more database. Of course, especially if you win something and can't withdraw because of wager rule, and than you lost money you won, your bonus and your deposit because of "long-run rule" - and it's so frustrating you can't do anything about it. Bonuses are really nice when you can get them from bots in the chat for example. You feel better when not only you give casino your money but the casino gives you money as well. I think it's quite a genious idea, actually, because gamblers appreciate the bonuses they recieve and then they usually don't withdraw them but play and return them to the casino and gamble more than in the casinos which don't have bonus systems.
