For me there is no cashing out, if btc hits 2000 great i can buy a lot of stuff, if it goes back to 200 dam can only buy less things, either way there is no cashing out for me up or down. I will now use btc as part of my daily living.

Chinese Pumpers are driving the price up. Just a Pump before the Dump, looking forward to getting BTC for $200 again in 2017. By mid January 2017 the Dump begins, if not sooner.   Bitcoin going 2000$ this 2017 is not feasible. It may possibly reach 1200$ but it will not climb up to 2000$. With regards to the dump it is not going to happen this 2017. China has not launched their fiat virtual currency and even if they do it will took years for them to cover the whole of China before its full implementation. Even if there is dump this year bitcoin will climb up faster back to the current price and why when it will dump many people will buy it back. Why is it not feasible? What about the other bubbles? I'm sure it would have seemed "impossible" before the price jumps then. It is feasible. No one here knows what they're talking about, including me. This is the speculation section after all. $2000 is a definite possibility, but so is $200 if we actually have a bubble that ends up popping. Think about that. so maybe it is best if you educate yourself before saying things like what you said and if you look around and read kiklo's post history you see that he is a troll, spreading FUD about bitcoin with so many false information. people say anything is possible and that is true but there is always a big if behind every one of them. and yes $200 is possible only if 10 big countries such as US, Canada, China, Japan, Russia,... announce that bitcoin is illegal and we will kill anybody who is using it. if that happens price will go to $200 otherwise we will see a continued rise towards $2000 |
Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

many great expectations for bitcoin this year. I also hope that the price of bitcoin reach $ 2,000 this year. This will be a great year, and maybe at the end of 2017 CE bitcoin prices will reach $ 2,000. so, I probably will not sell bitcoin I have again.

Huh? $2000 is just as feasible as $200. and what does a chinese fiat have to do with anything? it'll make bitcoin look even more vital than before. You really cannot determine the feasibility of the price touching $2000 as who in their right mind saw the price crossing 1 dollar in the first place and look at the price of the coin now and so nothing is impossible when it comes to bitcoin and i do expect a stable growth rather than a jump to $2000. I do agree! Nothing is impossible i do agree that in the first place we cant really say that the price of the bitcoin reaches $1 so why not it will reach to $2000 very soon but we could say that it is not really easy to get that kind of price of bitcoin if there is something big happen this year then big pump coming but if there is a big problem coming this year then that is a bad news though.! |

2016 was a great year for bitcoin. $433 at the start 1 Jan 2016 and $966 at the end 31 Dec 2016. Coindesk BPIfor reach $2000 i think not this year maybe on Bitcoin halvening on July 2020, hopefully.  |

We need need to ignore that the price movement of bitcoin's always following exponential growth. So, slow progress could not be expected for bitcoin price appreciations. Rapid growth in both bitcoin price levels and mass adoption of it are highly possible in coming days. |

Firstly I wish all of you all a Very Happy New Year to come!
Do you think that this year Bitcoin will finally hit the 2000 dollars mark and beat the previous high?
We have recently seen the price just falling short of 1000 dollars for first time in a long while.
Does 1000 dollars act as a tipping point for buying or selling for the majority of Bag Holders?
Will you buy less if the price increases further or see this as a sign that the investment is a sound one for cashing out in 2020?
Well, $2000 is now what we hope for in the year 2017. I know it could really possibly happen before the end of the year. If the price increases further? I won't buy much but I am pretty sure I will save some of my earnings in trading and here in signature campaign even a small amount would do. |

This is an attainable value. I don't think the price will reach a range of four or five thousand dollars this year. But a value between $ 2,000 and $ 3,000 is possible, as long as everything planned for this year is put into practice. There are many investors and developers working behind the scenes, and many of the projects announced can make a big difference for Bitcoin.

If you consider the rise of price of bitcoin in 2016 and the current valuation it is a real possibility that the price could cross the two thousand barrier with this run.I am sure that the price could sustain that valuation and it will not drop like it dropped during 2014 .The price of thousand dollars on the first day of 2017 is really a good sign for bitcoin.
