Considering you could have used the money to buy bitcoins and essentially double your money instead, what purchases did you make this year that you are now regretting?
If you knew what you know now, would you have been more frugal with your money?
Whatever i had this year were all in bitcoins and i did not use any of them for a reason that should make me regret it. I did not have any cash as i'm not on any job and a student and i spend my bitcoins on only important things this year.

No... I mostly only buy what's absolutely necessary. Wouldn't be able to switch buying that for Bitcoin. Also buy some goodies from time to time, only if they're on discount. Wouldn't switch that for more Bitcoin either (most of the goodies are even bought with Bitcoin)

Always been frugal with my money ever since and not really buying stuff that doesn't really interests me in any way. But there actually is one thing that I regret using my money to, and that is buying an expensive shirt only to wear it in a single occasion. Ever since, I haven't used that shirt. Only if that $100 shirt was directed into buying more bitcoin, it could be of $200+ value now. :/

I don't have any regrets when I spend money for something I don't like. Maybe that's why I'm not rich, I don't know how to save money, and not spent it on stupid things. I hope this year I will have more money for spending, it's all about it, and if I could start to save money somehow that would be great for 2017.

No regrets at all. I am happy with everything I have bought till now. I am not going to live forever anyways.
You are right because if we just keep on saving money then a time would come when we would be aged 80 years and we will have like 1000000$ in wealth but all those millions dollars would be useless since neither we have the teeth to enjoy food nor the stamina to enjoy vacations. I just regret my gambling and nothing else really.

Spent way too much money on Poker Yeah gambling losses hurts a lot more than spending because spending at least was our decision and our need. But gambling was our desperation that costed us much more than what we actually lost, hehe I guess only gamblers are unhappy when the bitcoins price rises.

What I regret most is buying shit ton of hyper nutricious cereal bars. I've bought like 70$ worth of them in preparation of a one week trip on bike in mountains, for me and my friends. 3/4 of those weren't even ate and I think it even went to trash ! Also, buying a coat at 275$ or two pair shoes at 155$ each could have been postponed without much problem I think... However I doubt I would have bought Bitcoin instead.

I don't regret any because I am spending my money wisely. I spend my money on my personal and family needs. Any excess i save them either in bitcoin or in money. As much as possible I don't want to buy bitcoin and get bitcoin thru my effort. Then trade it with altcoin and possible exit with a profit.

I was holding a good number of coins in the beginning of 2016. Unfortunately, I had some financial issues to solve and saw myself forced to sell most of them. Now, when I look back and think that I've sold them at less than the half of the current price it even brakes my heart :\

I made a lot of investment in shitcoins, that gives me a negative return . Though it was even out by investing into another shitcoin and i managed to exit at its peak, the only regret i have is by holding shitcoins too long especially when I am aware that it is actually a shitcoin. So I guess lesson learned and I am still not discourage in investing at them, I just need to time the exit perfectly.

I also did not spend my money on any thing and kept my money in bitcoin. I was already aware from a few months that the price of bitcoin will increase much higher at the end of 2016 and at the beginning of 2017 so I am now much happy with buying bitcoin at good time.

If selling bitcoin and spending that counts, the worst thing I did was sell over 5 BTC and gamble it away on a fiat casino while bitcoin was only $300-$400. I could have kept those coins and sold now and I'd actually have a good use for them. But mistakes are made to be learned from, right? Life goes on!

I assume we're not talking about 2017 because it just started what I regret the most is that I actually did not spend my money on Bitcoin. I just kept my money in fiat and that was a bad decision, and I regret it because now I would have had doubled that amount (a few hundreds bucks).

This year i would not regret about spending money because during new year we spend less together with my family, and talking about what I regret most is using fiat currency money is at last year's spending history. I am able to spend fiat money to some happy hours buying alcoholic drinks and uncertain lottery gambling which spends fiat money which i regret most spending and big thanks to bitcoin because beyond regretions there is hope from bitcoin which made me learn how to earn out of it.

As always, all my purchases are attentive and conservatively planned. In this way, I moved last year when I bought bitcoins. Perhaps I should sometimes be more risky. In this case I had more fiat money to afford and I could have to buy more If I believed on the potential of the bitcoin. On the other side who can surely predict the future events?

I think even though the price of bitcoin will be high in the future. does not mean you have to continue to hold your bitcoin for you to bring in a profit. What about when you're in need of money or goods, surely you must do the spending, do it wisely

Definitely on gambling and treating gambling as a way to earn easy and fast money, instead of as entertainment. Gambling is a -EV game and people don't realise that. They think that there is a strategy to beat the house, but the reality is that the more bets you make the more likely the house edge is going to catch up with you in the long term and make you lose. I won't gamble again this year. Not after the losses that were incurred last year...
