Considering you could have used the money to buy bitcoins and essentially double your money instead, what purchases did you make this year that you are now regretting?

If you knew what you know now, would you have been more frugal with your money?

To be honest regrets are for losers, Although i have spent alot off money on some crap this year, lol  Grin  one thing that i dont regret buying this year is my bitcoin, i have even purchased alot at current prices, which i believe will be worth alot more in a few years.  Grin

Bought a video game with bitcoins around May so as you say I could have great profits if I did not purchase that video game that at the end turned out to be not as good as I though it would be.

I blew $2000+ on a vacation earlier this year. I could have easily postponed it by a year and bought bitcoins with it.
This probably would have been enough for 3-4 vacations.
Yeah and then you could have enjoyed a lot more with the same amount since the bitcoins grew quite significantly recently. Though I won't blame you hehe because come on spending bitcoins on vacations is like a dream come true. Spending our earnings on vacations sounds great to me.

I will say that spending money on repairs for a car that is 30 years old would be the biggest regret this year.
I could of just as easily have spent that money on a new car and not be trying to revive this old one.
It is costing more everytime to fix something that is just having it inches away from being sent to the junk yard. It is a never ending cycle once you start putting money into a dying car.
Might as well just buy brand new and bypass all the guilt later in what you have done. Embarrassed

I don't have any regrets when it comes to spending money last year. I've planned everything well with my wife and I've sticked to our plans, thus I've been able to do well and invest a little into Bitcoin every month too.

Repairing a car that's been so old is simply waste of money, but you cannot get it back in future if you sell this. Because those were like precious memories. Better try selling it for bitcoin you might get additional profit.
Same as one of the user my regret is too gambling, even after getting few winning I was unable to make a good saving. So have given a small break for it.

if the car was of his need then it is not bad that he spend some money on that but as he is regretting so he may not that much need of it. By the way sometimes people spend on extreme needs and when they see the price of bitcoin much higher they regret that why not they bought bitcoin instead of spending on their need.

I don't really spend money too much, but I regret buying a few plugins and website themes / services. Although I lose a bit here and there I tend to learn off everything I purchase.

In most cases, it looks like i'm not alone and more people are affected by this than I thought. Most people in all countries throw out more than they use or get scammed along the way, but nothing takes away forgetting pain in life when growth exceeds the norm.

Everything digital is ahead of time and BTC surely has failed startup opportunities just like the dot com bubble, losses are always an expectation... Especially when moving into the development aspect in life.
