Considering you could have used the money to buy bitcoins and essentially double your money instead, what purchases did you make this year that you are now regretting?

If you knew what you know now, would you have been more frugal with your money?

I have bought a new laptop on middle of this year when price per bitcoin was around $400 and i spend $800+ for that new laptop. However i already had one laptop working just fine, so i think that was my mistake to spend those $800 in one laptop, i should have bought 2BTC around with it so that i can now have both laptop and $800 sitting in my balance.  Angry

I blew $2000+ on a vacation earlier this year. I could have easily postponed it by a year and bought bitcoins with it.
This probably would have been enough for 3-4 vacations.

A car, repairs, whores and coke. I should really have cut the car and repairs out and that is what I regret this year.

i don't have much regret mainly because i never overspend my money and always act within budget Smiley
but the only regret i have is investing in a couple of altcoins in bad time which lead to some bitcoin loss because i had to dump at lower price.

I should not have bought some electronics so soon, I could have bought it later. But what I really regret having bought, are some altcoins. It took a while for me to realize that the vast majority of them are just pump and dump schemes, to fill the pockets of developers, and some insiders.

I regret it, that i spend money on Online Casinos.

I thought it would be a good idea to registret on casino sites,
take the bonus there and cash out the money that i win, but at the end i lost everything, about 1.500 Euro.

That would be now about 1,7 Bitcoins.
I can not change the time back, but iam still angry about that.

I invested much in Ponzis because of lack of knowledge!  Sad
I could have just hold that BTCs then they automatically doubled my amount without any ponzi.  Grin

I regret too much spending on unnecessary things, if i could turn back the time and fix my spending habit, but 2017 will surely be a different story, will follow good savings and spending attitude.

I guess there are some small regrets, but to small to remember. In hindsight it is always easy and i guess everyone of us would have sold as much of his stuff as possible to invest into Bitcoin, but how could you expect such a price rise?. However i do have regrets on how i have spend my time, but hopefully this will change in 2017.

Well, I guess I was too wasteful in my personal matters. to be honest, I actually spend the money I have for things that are not necessary, and I am aware of it at the end of the year. Well, I hope that in 2017, I could be better in managing my finances, because I really wanted to buy a house on the money that I collected myself.

Ya, I bought way too many Namecoins. I wanted to invest in an alt coin that I really believed in and would love to see distributed domain names but others do not appear to feel the same way.

i sold some bitcoin Sad that is the only regret i have in 2016
i used to joke around saying as soon as i sell bitcoin the prices are going to go up and what do you know, it actually happened. facepalm

i sold a small amount after 2 years at $880ish and price broke $900 resistance the next day. next time i wanted to sell anything i am going to announce so others can use it as speculation Grin

p.s. i am still a BitcoinHodler though.

0.02 BTC for a Ponzi scheme as I thought I'd be quicker to retrieve the money before they quit for running away.  Pah!
