RBIES chain has forked back to October of last year, wallet isn't syncing anymore and is giving an upgrade error dating back to the last upgrade.

How do we fix this?

Here is what I did, suggested by user mammix2, when I had synching problems: another users some posts above followed my suggestion and seems like they worked for him as well.

I have the latest version but it is not just me, the block explorer is also experiencing the same thing as me.

Not sure  I understood correctly what you mean with "..the block explorer is also experiencing the same thing as me"

For what I can see block explorer is correct ( at least shows the same as my wallet).

The block explorer has since been fixed and is on the latest blocks. It wasn't at the time of my posts though, what i pasted was what it was showing at that time.

Actually it is not born yet. I mean swapping from old RBIES to R2B2 is already possible but the new coin will be fully launched and implemented with V. 2  of MoneyPot site.
And reading last post from MoneyPot main Dev (CrazyCraig) on MP thread seems like that on 21st of March a big step toward V2 will take place

On march 21st we will be performing critical changes to our platform. This is the last phase in our v2 restructure. Interruptions should be expected.

From the way you partially quoted that message of mine I seem to have written that message. Let me state am not part of Moneypot staff and I was only crossposting that announcement wrote by CrazyCraig ( main MoneyPot dev if I'm not wrong).

For the record, the problem isn't with the coin itself, but the way that the news is relayed. There's no transparency with RBIES or R2B2, as nothing that has been committed to publicly has been accomplished.

I'm glad I got out when I did, and I feel bad for anyone who is still holding either.

C'mon, dev, get your shit together and update us with some transparent news. If you're having trouble meeting your timeline, create a new one and stick to it. Don't just say "later" and "shortly" because you've apparently proven to us that those words mean something completely different to you than us.

In the upcoming week, approximately 4 Million Rubies will be converted into R2B2 with the Rubies being sent to the sink address.

It is highly recommended that you get in contact with us to exchange your Rubies into R2B2 assets as the more is sent, the more likely fork issues will arise.
