I'll pass on the message to the app developer.
It might be better suited if you posted it in their main thread instead of here though.
Oh okay sorry. IDK how to find it. I only know of it from seeing them adv it here oops thanx

Hi, I know JPR asked this, but I think it's mostly unrelated to the bulk of his posts - just wondering if there was any idea when the list of previous investors and amounts to be reimbursed might be released?

Just launched our new game on MoneyPot DRAGONS WHEEL had a few small dramas but they are now sorted so come for a look https://btcdragon.comIt's a unique twist on the wheel game and I did enjoy being able to bet on the different possible outcomes but I don't understand how or why the HE is over 18%. Several of the other games on BTCdragon.com also seem to have a higher HE than most mp casinos I have played on. I am just confused as to why that is? Thank you for the creative and fun new games. Hi staxxd yes if you read our main thread its all explained there and the HE has been sorted , it was noted to me and there was a small problem with the math but it has been sorted and thanks we are trying to bring in different games as for the house edge it has to do with probability, chance of winning and so on and goes back to the maths , some games just cant have a 1% house edge unless we manipulate the possible % of the outcome and thats not the way to do it cause if we did then the provably fair system wouldnt really be fair but , like the wheel there is 7 numbers that can come up ) over 52 positions on the wheel, so to double your money you have a 46% chance of getting that is you select and bet on the x1 position , and at the other end the x47 position , you have a 1.9% chance of getting that if betting on only won of them , and when the maths is done the house edge is 7.7% that we get back from Moneypot once they do there bit on the info that is sent , i mean we could make it harder to get the x47 times but that would mean modifying the % structure and well 52 positions is 52 positions so the % of getting any particular position is a fixed % , so 100%/52 positions = 1.92% and thats the way it has to be to be fair to all concerned then the HE is worked out on what positions you take and chance of win/lose , hope that helps a bit , but read it on the other thread mate or message me Okay thanks for the quick reply! Not to be rude but there are some major issues with this site/game. The game is simply not done correctly. There is no possible way to find your bet ID once the history page has passed the 100 on the moneypot history page for the site. Also, the math is totally wrong on the game. It says you've won more than you have on as far as I have seen every single multiplier. Here is an example. Sorry but 11x2 is not 24. Just as 5x3 is not 18. The house edge has gone from over 18% to just under 8% but this is still insane. I can handle the high HE which is why I returned, but what reason is there for the incorrect math on the amounts won? When it says "won" 24 bits and I finally track down my bet ID (when I am able to catch it on the mp history page) and find out I win 9 bits I feel pretty cheated. I understand I opted to play for the jackpot and this costs some extra satoshi and that is fine but I hope that you can understand that these things make a difference in someone wagering 15 bits and 500 and until some solid improvements are made I don't think I will be playing here. I hope you understand this is being said because I do like the direction the site is going and the attitude of the admin/mods I have encountered there and I would really love to see them succeed. I did notice there have been updates but it just seems like there is a lot of forward motion without much consideration going into making sure that the work you've already done is 100% where it needs to be before moving on. Best of luck! edited to add link to image http://imgur.com/a/XMOy6Hi staxxd the maths is correct ill post a answer on the BTCDragon thread mate look here mate https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1724891.272

The thread is constantly getting derailed. JPR, I sincerely invite you to please ask any and all questions to me in private with as many follow-up questions as you need so that you can get fully informed on the situation. Once you get a better understanding of the issues at hand, we have no problem of you posting here. All else are welcome to ask any questions or bring up any concerns they have by PM, e-mail ( support@moneypot.com) or at our discord channel www.moneypotsupport.com/discord . Let's try and keep this thread on track *edited sorry for the late answer you dont need to PM me and I will not answer any of your PMs cause any PM conversation will not solve the problem that you dont answer my questions in public and even delete my legit questions. deleting a legit question is switching on a red light. better to answer it here in your thread if you are really legit and want to be transparent. I start with this question again that you very quick deleted (many more unanswered questions still to come) you wrote: .......the 2 people with access myself being one.......... who is the other one?but before you wrote after a very trusted user asked you who has access to the server seeds: 3 People have access to the server seed. Our lead developer is one of them. He also holds equity in the site and is on the team. He is not just a stranger. those times there were 3 and now there are 2 hmmm please clarify who has access to the server seeds? last stats Bankroll: 361,110,842 bitsWagered: 91,763,268,403 bits Investor Profit: -82,087,674 bits

It's because we have been switching up setups and transitioning for v2 upgrades.
I am one, our lead developer is the other.
I'm not going to start the arguments with you. Let us work and investigate. If you wish to interrupt this process with your trolling, your posts will be immediately deleted.
this was your answer after a trusted user asked you who has server seeds access Moneypot.com/users/dogedigital Moneypot.com/users/ranlo Moneypot.com/users/crazycraigWe are all down. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1366689.msg16765161#msg16765161that means ranlo was taken out of those 3 with server seeds access. why that and since when was that done?

Someone should calculate the probability of moneypot legitimately losing 82 btc from 1 billion bets with 92,000 btc wagered. I would be very interested to see how tiny the % is. @moneypot, is your bet data available for download for 3rd parties to verify it? So soneone doesnt have to scrape 1 billion pages from https://www.moneypot.com/bets/

At one point, yes, we were all down.
The most recent comment (during that time) was combined, we are probably down or close to even.
Ranlo viewed having access as a liability and did not want to be the subject of wild accusations.
was this move somewhere announced? any other owner changes?

So there is no way I can download historical betting data? Can you not dump your database to a torrent or something?

If BustaBit can do it, I'm sure MP can do it - seems just like a matter of time, no?

If BustaBit can do it, I'm sure MP can do it - seems just like a matter of time, no? We are able to do this, but it will take a fair amount of time to accomplish as data lives in different partitions. We only keep the last 1-200m games in our live databases. We also do not have access to pre-take over data. I will work coordinating this but please be aware its not something thats going to happen over night.

was this move somewhere announced? any other owner changes? Internal moves such as this do not need to be announced. There have been no ownership changes. We are doing the best that we can to evolve our security. We take previous acquisitions and future threats seriously. Believe it or not, the MoneyPot ownership team has invested heavily in security precautions and many of our delays have been a result of fortifying our systems.

For anyone interested in this stuff, this is an interesting paper worth checking out: https://lab.getmonero.org/pubs/MRL_Monte_Carlo_Edition.pdfAlthough, a far simpler thing I think that would make sense to look at would be the correlation between site profit and volume. It's been my observation that the two are strongly inversely correlated with each other. Generally when people are doing well, they gamble ( a lot) more, driving volumes through the roof -- and tend to be happy customers that come back. And likewise when people are doing poorly, they tend to not gamble much.

Check out gamblingsitefinder.com for a decent list/rankings of crypto casinos. Note: I have no affiliation or interest in it, and don't even agree with all the rankings ... but it's the only uncorrupted review site I'm aware of.

There's no need to announce stuff like that, removing access from people who no longer need it is considered a best practice, and has absolutely no adverse affects on anyone. Removing access doesn't imply that they did it because the person did something wrong, or anything like that. We are able to do this, but it will take a fair amount of time to accomplish as data lives in different partitions. We only keep the last 1-200m games in our live databases.
You might want to also just filter out all bets < 100 bits or something, as they'll just add background noise and be annoying and slow to work with We also do not have access to pre-take over data.
Nor do I, unfortunately. I did find this chart I made from a bit before the sale though: https://i.gyazo.com/041bb7932ebd9bc346ea1c88ddb6a1b9.png(and there you'll see the strong negative correlation between investor profit and wagered like I was talking about in my previous post)

edit; Directed at JPR's post of trolling.
Oy.
I don't like to share my private messages as they're supposed to be private, but you keep pretending like you haven't received them.
Here is what I wrote for your deleted post and I sent immediately after you posted it that you completely ignored because you just want to troll in public.

There isn't an owner not allowed to have access.
This is why I asked you to clarify first. I don't want to waste time managing your posts in public when I need to check all angles for the big wins of recent.

It's not because you have questions and I'm not trying to avoid anything. Why don't you share the other private messages that was sent to you? I have no problems speaking with you and/or you posting in public as long as you're not posting nonsense and at least put in an effort to understand what's going on so you don't spread misinformation.

I did not say that.
I was addressing your deleted post that did not make sense.
You end up trying to twist words and I believe that it gets to the point where it makes you believe certain things that aren't true.
Again, this is why you should clarify things before posting. You are cluttering up this thread and asking endless questions without even trying to learn the actual answers to your previous ones.
Please message me and ask away so you can get the answers you are looking for. After you have an informed answer, you're more than welcome to post... But I doubt you will do any of this and that's why I keep referring to you as a troll.
Any other posts that you make from this point on without getting the answers first are just getting instantly deleted.
