Hey .. i have a 2gb ram laptop and 500gb of storage and other features of traditional or old laptops. I have been using it for years. I am going to buy AMD rx 480 of 8 gb variant also some other 4gb GPU for the purpose of mining altcoin .. would i face any problem when i mine GPU and CPU based altcoins?? Or my laptop won't support the GPU due to low RAM??? Please suggest me some ideas in this regard.

Thank you Cheesy

actually it seems there is a rx 480M (not sure if you can really upgrade gpu's in laptops though).
but in all, it is a bad idea because laptop cooling isn't dimensionned for mining (or high gpu load calculation)

ps: actually there are also some sort of GPU NAS (from asus (as well as Apple) I think), where you can plug an external gpu through thunderbolt connection (whatever it is) but it is quite pricey...

No problem i have a desktop.. if the thing is pricey i will use that in my desktop which too has same specs.
Well another thing i want to ask that is there a way i can connect my desktop's CPU with my laptop? Means any hardware which allows me to do so or any other way?

Check YouTube for "Mini pcie 16x"...

Using an adaptor you can add a 16x slot through a wifi/wwan mini PCIE slot...
Still need an external power supply for the video card.

Link to my batch and script resources here.

Firstly you have to make ready your graphic card working properly because out put will be supplied via USB. For such types of external graphic cards it need external power supply which will be provided by SMPS. Required power supply will be delivered by SMPS to graphic card.

Also you will need PCI slot for Graphics Card.
