I generally love dogs more than people. I swear I would have shot the man who killed the dog.

The reason is that most of the area in Africa is not suitable for agriculture. Some of it is desert, and most of the remainder is forest. The rapid population growth is further worsening the problem, by creating conflicts over land and water resources.

I don't like that country much, as it is one of the global leaders in deforestation. Every year, millions of acres of forest in Borneo and Sumatra are cleared for palm oil plantations. The government needs to stop this.
