I've never been to Japan, but I really want. This is one of the most expensive countries and therefore I can't afford a trip to this country. However, I don't quite agree with you that the Japanese do not eat that in Europe and the United States is unacceptable. They eat dolphins and whales. For this reason, there is very often skirmishes with the green party.

Faroe Islands is another country where you will get dishes made out of whale meat in the restaurants. The Norwegians also used to eat whale meat, but they no longer do.

Whale hunting is now already being banned around the globe due to the scarce number of whales and they are considered endangered species. Unlike other sea creatures they can just make one offspring for how many years and by killing one whale will stop the whole generation of whale offsprings. If whale hunting will not be stopped then soon whale will be extinct. We can now see that Iceland and other countries are now regulating whale hunting in order to preserve them.

As far as I know, the Japanese have not joined the ban of whaling. I feel sorry for these animals. They are pretty smart. Humans have been hunting whales for tens of thousands of years. I don't see anything wrong with it, as long as the numbers are kept at sustainable levels. And not just Japan, many other countries also don't honor the ban on whale hunting. Examples are Iceland, Faroe Islands, and tribal communities in Russia and Alaska.

Most of Australia is composed of semi-desert and desert regions, and therefore it is not very surprising to find all these venomous reptiles there. The same is the case with the other semi-desert regions, such as the Mojave desert of the US, Kalahari desert of Botswana and Sahara desert of North Africa.

Sometimes I would like to determine the level of dangerousness of a certain country not just by how people say worst things. I could easily s ay that probably it is US or the European Nation. US is somehow experimenting a lot of things and hide it from the public and for me that is much more worse than seeing a chinese eating a dog. IMO(tho)

Japan. There's a lot of cases of abuse of domestic dogs and cats, which incluse torture and poisoning. Not only that, but as said before, there's also the slaughter of dolphins.

Really?! They have a freakin cat island and rabbit island. It seem to be a domestic problem rather than society in general. China though... Let's forget for a while that they eat dogs, they can argue that it's part of their culture but really, rhino horns, bear and cobra gall, tiger paws? The gov't should at least do something with regards to endangered species but unfortunately regulation is lax and most of it comes abroad anyway, like ivory for example. Maybe they should do a shame campaign to make it look not cool? Much of it goes into traditional medicines after all.

Speaking of ivory, my country Philippines also seem to be an offender as well. We don't kill endangered species on large scale for food or quack pills, we make them into something holy - religious figures. And IMHO that makes it 1000x worse than the Chinese !

I think each country will have its own characteristics, each region, not everyone. Like a country, there are areas where they love animals, but there are specialized areas where animals are killed. The slaughterhouse is the wildest and most dangerous place for animals.

In every country there are poisonous animals, insects and plants. Just need to know about it and not forget about safety precautions. Now the climate changes a little and many animals and insects live further North than we lived before. This is a danger for those who are not ready.

I agree with you. In a foreign country, you can poison yourself even with the water that local people eat. The human body gets used to certain conditions. And a change in the environment has a negative effect on the body.

Very strange statements about the fact that there is a country where animals are killed. It seems that these words were written by a vegetarian. If we take for example our village, then in every household animals are killed, beginning with the chicken completing pigs and cows for meat.

There is another aspect to this. In the developed nations, the interactions between wild animals and humans is less. There are strictly delineated wild life reserves and the animals remain confined to these spaces. But in the developing nations, there is no strict separation. People continue to encroach on the protected areas, resulting in conflict between the animals and the humans.
