I love how the majority relate Asia, like the worst continent for animals.
Lets not forget that even in European countries or American ones, there are several activities that are even worse than in Asia. At least Asians kill them for eating.

You are blaming the Asians without any reason. It is true that the East Asians have a very colorful diet. But the same is applicable for the Europeans as well. Ever heard about the Ortolans? It is known as the cruellest food in the world. And what about Foie Gras?

Does open water or Antarctica is considered as a country because as I see lots and lots of animals, which include penguins, fishes, whales and polar bears are slaughtered everyday for luxury items and other nonsense things for humans.

I never had an idea about in antarctica all I know was that the animals who lived in that country are like what you had just said like penguins, sea lions, whales and others species. How about the middle east or uae nations which is most often happened there is war or battle happen.

Yes, these are very dangerous countries. Tourists do nothing there. They can simply be killed. And no one will find the body. I would never go to a country where there is a war

If you can eat beef, pork, mutton, venison, veal, fish, chicken, caviar.etc, then what is wrong in eating dog meat? Also, it is a part of their tradition. Who you are to order them to stop practicing their customs and traditions?

It's about the torture the dogs have to endure before they get eaten.

In that case, banning dog meat all together will not solve the problem. The activists should rather concentrate on encouraging humane slaughter of the dogs. I guess the dogs are beaten to pulp before slaughter to increase the tenderness of the meat. They do that for all types of meat, including mutton, venison, and pork.

As long as one eats meat, i dont think one has the right to protest how animals are being killed for food, there is no humane way of killing, but beating an animal to a bloody pulp to increase tenderness is simply just awful.

I think there are several Asean countries that abusing the animals. But in terms of dangerous countries
Middle east I think is one of the dangerous nation, their very strict to their rules about their by laws.

There are a lot of other ways to increase the tenderness of the meat. These people must be educated about it, and torture before the slaughter must be strictly prohibited. But this should not be used as an excuse to ban meat.

You are mistaken about Japan? The Japanese are a very civilized bunch of people (although 50% of the world's weirdness originate from there) and they never indulge in cruelty against the animals. Perhaps you mistook Japan for Korea. The Chinese and the Koreans are well known for their cruelty against the animals (especially dogs).

I guess that would be in middle east where there are some civil war occuring in Afghanistan, libya, syria,bhenghazi. I believe that where the ISIS terrorist group origanated now terrorizing the world with fear. Some said ISIS were created because the US government wouldn't let them decide what's right for their country but instead stealing all their natural resources just to make profit. I think the true evil and dangerous ciuntry in this world is the US cause they spy and manipulate other countries to gain strength and to be able to control them.

I'm more confused on this thread because people are interpreting this thread as to which there are dangerous animals in the country like Africa, Madagascar, or somewhere there would be beasts that ready to eat humans or that are dangerous for animals because of humans. I read here in this thread that people are actually seeing it as countries that are dangerous FOR animals. But I think the OP wants to know who has the most dangerous animals.

But if we can see it some just do it for fun or along with their tradition or their natural habits, this also happens when the ecosystem is being disturb and the worst is destroyed. Animals doesn't have any choice but to live among us, but the problem is that some people hate animals and being cruel and to think the ones destroying their habitat are no other than we.

China would be the answer. I read articles about how they abuse dogs. i also read that they also torturing birds and other animals. removing internal organs of the fishes while they are still alive. I hope there would be a law against animal cruelty in their country

They remove the skin of all still living and claim that it is to allow a clean cut. After throwing the carcasses into piles, still alive and for about 10 minutes the heart beats and eyes blink and the paws of the dogs shake. There is still one who raised his head and fixed his bloodied eyes straight for camera.

I am admittedly not well-research as to animal welfare in different countries around the world but I have heard and read a lot about Chinese cruelty to animals. Not as a matter of animal "sports" or gambling such as horse fighting, dog fighting, cockfighting, and others. In China, almost every kind of animal is killed for human purposes, either for plain human consumption or according to pseudo-medical beliefs of having an element to cure whatever diseases or illness or as aphrodisiac, and others. Live dogs are tied in the market for sale as food. Even pangolins, turtles, birds, and other weird and endangered animal species are all for human consumption as food.

There are many countries where very rare animals are eaten. And even more such animals are killed by poachers. It is difficult to prove the state's guilt in the disappearance of certain species of animals.
In my country, veal is eaten, and in India this animal is considered sacred. Therefore, the danger depends on the culture and traditions of the local population

Considering how big the Chinese population, they will eat anything they see fit like dogs and other animals. Also, their culture of eating dogs is not new as well. They even have a dog festival, which is the practice of dog eating. But the problem lies here is that they are eating dogs the whole year round, not just during this festival. Sadly, the cruelty is an inherent part of the dog meat trade: there's a traditional belief that the meat tastes better if the animal suffers as it dies, with adrenaline coursing through the body. So its inherent in their tradition that animal cruelty is accepted.
