This thread got really ugly really fast.  I stated my opinion twice in this thread, so I won't belabor it.  If there's anything I can do (probably not) to help resolve this issue, anyone, let me know.  KWH bowed out on being the go-between, and probably for damn good reason.  I would be happy to do that if mixan is willing to pay the agreed upon amount of bitcoin (whatever that is).

Wasted 15 minutes reading the entire thread.Jumped to following conclusions.

-mixan is a 12 year old kid with no intentions of paying the bitcoins back.
-Coinman could be a scammer but I will pass that since I haven't found any connecting alt's yet.
-mixan definitely doesn't understand the trade conditions and doesn't adhere with the trading rules hence the negative feedback justified.
-I left a negative feedback to mixan until he pays back coinman.

@mixan : Why did you agree to deal with him in the first place when you're so confident of him being alt of all the scammers you've mentioned ?

I really do not understand why mixan has not refunded the OP's BTC. Even if mixan sends the OP the 0.0416 BTC that he was sent, and the OP claims to be due more BTC, that additional amount can be litigated later, and mixan has pretty much agreed that the OP is due 0.0416 BTC.

I see no reason why mixan would want to essentially ruin his exchanging business over $40, that seems pretty stupid to me.

Maybe it does, but that does not serves a reason to sit and act like your hands are tied. This is an active scam accusation and so I think a neg. feedback serving as warning to others is fair until this accusation gets resolved.

I believe what mixan did is some sort of selfish act and not a scammy one.Giving trust carelessly or bringing it in between to get a discount is not equal to eagerly asking Trust.The former is a selfish act and the latter might be an intent to scam.

Getting Trust or Buying Trust can be different when considered case by case basis.There are many honest forum enthusiasts who did many fake trades to increase the Number and i think that is just a hobby but is not equal to a scammer doing the same to pull off in the end.

Also note that 'mixan is not on DT' and this words "cause if the exchange goes smoothly then you get my trust feedback" makes me think that he had mixed feelings for this and which is why he didn't lied about being on DT or not

If any user wants to TAG him red then he should do so to the OP of the thread in reference as well or else leave a neutral rating on both of them.The OP is a scammer cause he was interested in a DT rating.

I would say it would be nice in theory but no pre agreement was made regarding late payment fees.  I would just focus on getting the initial BTC amount back.

Now that mixan has been red flagged (which is likely to remain even if the balance is settled) it is far less likely he will repay anything as he now has nothing to lose.

In the US, some jurisdictions will allow the lender to charge interest on a judgment after the judgment was granted by a court. The time required to get judgment against a borrower who defaulted on their obligations is usually more then one day (often is months), and the interest rate is usually not as exorbitant as 2% per day (it depends on the jurisdiction, however it is generally closer to 6% - 10% per year, or so).  

Regardless of the above, if mixan does not pay after a week or so, I would doubt that he will ever pay, and (attempting to charging him interest is probably only going to decrease your chances of a recovery.

It is going to be difficult to take any legal action against someone who owes you $40 in a cost efficient manner, and is even more difficult if you do not know the identity of the person who owes you money.

Now that mixan has been red flagged (which is likely to remain even if the balance is settled) it is far less likely he will repay anything as he now has nothing to lose.

He has a greater chance of getting the negative rating removed if he repays what he owes.
