investing in ICO is something that I would do.
Just make sure you study the ICO that you want to invest in. There are lot out there in the market and most of them are scams.
I have invested in one and I have trust in it.
Its TIO token, you can do your own research as well

Frankly speaking it is not really reasonable to invest in ico now. You risk to get on unfair developers and to lose the money. I prefer to invest in perspective cryptocurrency now. With its growth you can get quite good profit.

There are many scams among them, no doubt. But personally have succeeded to find some great ones in the past, with good returns. Like ICOs all together.

Last months i m following some icos and every of it falling down . Maybe because of the bitcoin or maybe people don't believing it anymore .

Don't invest in ICO at this time, the market is uncertain. there is no profit guarantee . if it's better to go to trade than invest. but if the market climate has changed, try to learn ico who will potentially advance in the future. or invest in ico that will launch at the end of the year or early next year. generally the market price is good, and it can give you a chance to make a profit.

Leave a few bitcoins for a year, buy the top 10 for the rest, invest the 1/2 of the rest in ICO. This is the right decision.

Investing is also a good thing but you have to dig in and know more about the ICO you want to invest if risk is not great.

investing in projects ico has a considerable level of risk. This is because at the moment most ICO are still trying to lure investors and that is not necessarily able to succeed the projects they have. other than that it could be that a project ico only collects money and then runs away. this is very real because it has happened very often. plus that the majority of projects ico often fail because they don't reach the predetermined softcap and hardcap. There are all the blanket problems that exist, but there are also promising projects. therefore we must be able to choose as best we can, analyze existing projects and then make the best decisions.

Don't invest more than you can afford to lose, DYOR and only invest in ICOs with an experienced and solid team behind them, quality ICO advisors (e.g. Don Chang who is currently an advisor for both the EdenChain and LINKCHAIN ICOs),and make sure that the ICO is actually solving a real problem for which blockchain will actually really help.

For this reason, projects can't raised soft cap  , most projects overestimate price of their tokens in a negative market. |

Maybe you can paused or stop for moment to invest at ico or other investment project, when bitcoin have lower price and altcoin too, you can take moment to invest and buy altcoin or bitcoin, its not good time for buying ico project investment.
agree with you that now it is better for us to invest in projeck for a moment and start investing in btc which is experiencing a decline in prices and uga eth |

ICOs are not profitable anymore since Q1 2018. So many ICOs price going down after main sale even when they hit hardcap. So i think it's a bad idea to join ICOs right now. But if you can good ICO with big bonus at pre sale, maybe you still have a chance to gain profit when they hit exchange. But still trading is more profitable than join ICOs.
