If you have to think about investing in ICO, you are actually not ready to make ICO investments. You should consider learning about the projects by reading there whitepaper. Learning about the Team and advisors.
Learning if there is any real world implementation of what the ICO projects are doing and accordingly think about making an investment in ICO.

By participating in an ICO, you become an investor and early adopter of the coin so choose wisely where you are stepping in.
