Other

- Igor Pokrajac was expected to face Ed Herman at the event. However, Pokrajac pulled out of the fight in early February citing an injury, and was replaced by Gadzhimurad Antigulov. Then, on February 20, Herman revealed that he was injured and also unable to compete at the event, leaving the promotion searching for a replacement for Antigulov.

- Todd Duffee was expected to face Mark Godbeer at the event. However, Duffee pulled out of the fight in mid-February for undisclosed reasons. He was replaced by promotional newcomer Daniel Spitz.

- A heavyweight bout between Marcin Tybura and Luis Henrique, initially scheduled for UFC 208 is expected to take place at the event. The pairing was initially delayed as Henrique was unable to gain medical clearance by the NYSAC after a recent corrective eye surgery.

No comment or predictions for Tyrone Woodley versus Wonderboy yet. I will just wait for the odds to be posted in the sportsbetting sites and see what they think. This is so close that an underdog odds in this fight is not really one.

Maybe if Wonderboy threw more strikes in the first fight he might have won it. But that will also make Tyrone open up and counter him with a bull rush. The rematch might be another tie? hehehe

Now things got really interesting as far as the LW division is concerned.  I'm rooting for Khabib to win just because I wanna see him and McGregor fight for the real belt.  That's gonna be a big one.

With the fights announced i do think this is one of the best fight cards after UFC 205,It is really going to be a short match between Woodley and Thompson i guess,now they know each other and would have figured out their weakness and the best camp with the smartest decisions will win this match,the match i am looking for is Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Tony Ferguson both are fantastic fighters but any day any opponent my bet is on Khabib .

This will make us think that this will be a bloody fight to the death. But what usually happens is we will see a copy of what happened in their first fight. It will depend on Wonderboy now because Tyrone is more of a counter puncher. If Wonderboy does not act, Tyrone will not have an opening to make him move.

Mark Hunt sued Brock Lesnar for the steroid pop up he had during their match and i think Mark Hunt sued Lesnar because he is really pissed as Brock took home a $2.5 million purse and i am sure he earned more than that and Mark Hunt really thinks it was not right and he wants the share because he is juiced to the gills .

It might all be just a threat from Hunt or he's doing this as a publicity stunt to attract the crowd.  But remember, the threat of doing something is sometimes much more advantageous than actually doing it.  It will all end with a settlement involving millions of USD for Hunt.

This is really gonna be better than before. The previous fight is really controversial. But im happy that it turn out to be draw. These two fighters are really good. The previous fight is very special. Most people at the venue is really standing and shouting. These two shows their big heart. Woodley just exert a lot of force at the 4th Round causing exhaustion at the fifth round. And Thompson just did an outstanding performance. I didn't expect him to survive that 4th round. But actually he did. And he came back at 5th round.

This fight will be good one.

Like wise mate.I started watching MMA during the pride days ,the first match was really close and its a good thing they went with the draw and that alone will hype the second encounter even in the first match Tyrone had Wonderboy in a tight choke but he did not tap and i really thought he passed out because no one can take those choke this long and that squeeze must have drained Tyrone in the later rounds.Tyrone is really explosive and that might bring him the victory the second time i guess.

It is not that easy as you think and i think Wonderboy has the chance to be the champion if he could really control the match and avoid being taken down as Tyron Woodley is a good wrestler and can man handle anyone inside the ring ,Thompson has to come up with more kicks rather than playing the waiting game.

According to some comments I have read online, Tyron made a mistake with the choke. He should have pressed the throat to disallow Wonderboy to breath. He was going for a type of choke to make him pass out and in the guillotine position it will be hard.

For the winner it is hard to predict because the 1st fight was close. But for me it was a split decision for Tyron. Wonderboy did nothing in that fight. Tyron knocked him down and did a choke that almost won him the fight.

Woodley facing Connor Mcgregor is not at all a fair match to tell the truth. Connor is a 155 pound at max and look at the match he faced Nate Diaz at 170 he looked like he will be sleeping anytime soon and was gassing out and somehow managed to win against Nate Diaz in the second match and still everyone dreaming of him facing the champ.The three matches i wanted see Connor Mcgregor facing is Tony Ferguson Khabib Nurmagomedov and Jose Aldo.

How do we know if Tyron Woodley is really going to be in danger? You base this on what happened in the first fight. Do you think Tyron did not study that last fight versus Wonderboy? Do you think Tyron did not learn anything? He did so it is hard to judge the outcome of their upcoming fight because there are many variables that might be changing here. Tyron can win this. I expect him to use more leg kicks to slow down his opponent.

YEAH!! My favourite fight so on their first meet Woodley vs Thompson at UFC 205 and now they meet again on UFC 209. I thought it's too fast to meet both fighters again ? NVM, i'm so hyped on this match, on UFC 205. This match is really good and full 5 rounds match and Thompson lose because the decision score. Will wait for it.
