I bought my first bitcoin's in May 2014, I bought regularly until I was happy with my stash & have HODL'D since (sold a few fairly recently but only a small % of my stash).
I was advised to invest by a wealthy client of mine & I'm very glad that I did. My cold storage stash is worth over 2.5 times than what I've spent & I hope that'll increase in value at least another 2 x

For me there are a lot of great aspects to Bitcoin and crypto. The main one for me is that it can be moved at low cost internationally without government controls. My main economic worries are about the central banks propping up a failed system, this can't or shouldn't be the case with Bitcoin. The speculative side of Bitcoin is interesting, but is kind of missing the point. It is a lifestyle and political entity, but people really only want to pump it and dump it nowadays.

Of course if you are buying some altcoin you are already a crypto enthusiast. Maybe, crypto is a big help for the beginner member here for them to afford to buy bitcoin or to have bitcoins.

Well I started from zero to hundreds of dollars in profit monthly. Its 50% luck and 50% effort that I came this far. I began to become an enthusiast when an escrow site that exchanges bitcoin to our local currency and vice versa appeared. During that time I started to earn from faucets then I tried gambling, i tried all styles on how to earn without capital until finally I was hired as a moderator in one of the gambling sites online and have stumbled across signature campaigns here in this forum. From that moment my effort had bear fruit.

Buddy! Bitcoin is too cryptocurrency. You can't differentiate between Bitcoin and altcoins to enmark someone as crypto enthusiast. One using only Bitcoin can also be considered as Crypto Enthusiast. However, you are right in saying altcoins can be a great help for someone to goes deep in Bitcoin and Crypto World! Altcoins are likewise lottery. Sometimes their price increases more than 100x giving the holder immense profits. So it is always good to attach with Crypto world since convenience and profits offered by Bitcoin is unmatchable.

Yes. It was around late 2014 when I first came to know about Bitcoin. I was browsing the net, don't know exactly how I ended up on a page about Bitcoin, but there I was reading about it for the first time. First thing I did was to learn about trading. I'm lucky in that aspect since I met a great person who taught me the ropes when I was a total newbie. Helped me out greatly. Then I came to know about the casinos and tried those out as well. It wasn't until half a year later(Mid 2015) that I got to know this forum. So, I've been an enthusiast ever since. My only regret is not knowing about it sooner.

I believe I can consider myself a cryptocurrency enthusiast. I think what led me to this at first was the curiosity of knowing how a payment platform can work without serious centralization elements. Another aspect that led me to try to understand more Bitcoin was the possibility of making profit in the market, since the currency is in the early stages, and this leads to the existence of greater volatility.

I cant say that I'm that nerdy crypto-enthusiast yet as I haven't contribute to the community nor to the system that has great or substantial impact as of now. I use bitcoin but I'm a low level enthusiast in my own criteria of being a enthusiast because I don't know much about bitcoin and also its counterpart altcoins. It driven me to use bitcoin because of gambling and to not putting any real information online when transacting to some explicit sites.

It was no until late 2014, that I have decided to go deep into Bitcoin by researching its blockchain technology and using the digital currency itself for everyday transactions. I did get into Bitcoin earlier due to fear, uncertainity, and doubt, but if I had, I would've become a millionaire by now.
Well said. I hate when today's haters claim that early adopters had unfair advantage. But then when I usually ask people who cry the most about it: 'Would you invest in mining or purchase BTC back then? The answer is either: "of course not" (if they are honest) or "sure, I would" (when they are being delusional and base opinion on what we know about BTC today). Plus, I believe that we are still the early adopters, and there is a long ahead of bitcoin. This is something I agree, the early adopters did not get an advantage, since there was no way to know if the bitcoin project was going to be any success at all, I know if back then I knew about bitcoin I would not have invest it on it since I would have consider it to be too risky. Very often I regret that so late learned about Bitcoin, I thought here would return time and invest in it all that is, but who am I kidding, then I would not have bought the Bitcoins, it was something not entirely clear and further his fate was not known. We must act here and now, we are still at an early stage, when it is possible to have time to make money if you do it right, only to know how to correct it. I think a lot of individuals regret that they did not know the currency before, but it was difficult to know at that time, even the experts were slow to learn about it. I remember an interview that Warrent Buffett gave a few years ago in which he said that Bitcoin was not a safe investment. I believe he did not understand all aspects of the currency at the time, and probably did not know that the currency would remain strong in the market, being useful to so many users.

I count myself one of such enthusiasts. I believe that the future is for bitcoin and other crypto currencies. That's why I am trying to explain to all my friends and close people all the perspectives of bitcoin. Now I make like minimal salary for my region just with commenting, without going out and to work on some stupid boss for such money, I organize my day as I wish and with the price for bitcoin my earnings are growing as well. I really believe that we, those people who joined to bitcoin in the last year, still have an opportunity to catch the luck and get some real wealth with bitcoin.
That is nice, and it show us there are more paths than the old paths, with bitcoin we can earn anywhere in the world and even better we can be independent and not rely on a boss that may fire us any time he wants.

I would not consider myself a crypto enthusiast yet since I have only been active with bitcoin only. I have dabbled with altcoin trading in the past and I can’t call myself an expert in that field since I got burned a few times and my busy schedule has been a deterrent in looking for better altcoins.

If I knew about Bitcoin earlier, and how it would turn out to become nowadays, I would've invested a large sum of money into it, to become a millionaire. Ever since I've heard about Bitcoin in its early days, I've thought that it was going nowhere, as it was geek's money, but then I have realized that I was completely wrong. Luckily, I've joined this forum in late 2014, and my journey towards success in Bitcoin began. Thanks to the signature campaign, I've learned a lot about cryptocurrencies and the blockchain, as it has encouraged me to explore the forum in every section, expanding my knowledge in the process.

My life changing story is just simple, well I just have a friend that are very enthusiast with Cryptocurrency and back then I am not a die hard fan with these kind of stuff and I am so very skeptic that my life would not be changed by Bitcoin, and after a whole month of keeping me into trying it out one day it hit me and that's it he just explain the ways in earning and introduce me into the forum.

My "crypto enthusiasm" comes from theoretical and practical considerations.
The most important reason I'm enthusiastic about BTC for now is that I think cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin can replace the current finance business. The actual finance business (banks and similar institutions) is, in my opinion, totally bloated and inefficient, charging high fees for trivial operations, and benefits a very small group of people.
With Bitcoin the first time we have the real chance to change this. We are giving "banking back to the people", using highly efficient and nearly fully-automated procedures. Advanced crypto features like smart contracts and assets can replace even traditional loaning completely if adoption continues to grow. A major drawback for now is volatility - so I'm looking for solutions for that particular problem.
Practically it does help me to make small international transactions, as I'm travelling often between countries. That's also why I consider the scalability problem important - it should continue to be possible to use BTC without prohibitive fees (My favourite approach for a solution, however, is a multi-blockchain environment, not so much a LN-dependant Bitcoin monopoly).
