Blockchain.info is having a lot of issues lately and I really recommend anyone using it to stop already , If you don't want to regret later maybe Its the best time to stop using it. Possible alternatives : btc.com (If you want to stay with web wallets) , Electrum (desktop) , Multibit HD (desktop) , Paper wallets for long term and Nano Ledger S as a hardware wallet (It has multi coins support too)

I have found blockchain.info web wallet very reliable and haven't faced any problem yet. Is there any specific reason for your suggestion to stop using blockchain.info wallets? Like did something happen?

I tried from blockchain app but tranx failed many time by doing this... 0.0003 Bitcoin equals 0.28 US Dollar is not high amount for bitcoin tranx above 10$+..... I can pay this amount

I don't have any issues with them , I actually stopped using them since they upgraded to HD and they removed the legacy login with it. If we take in consideration that there are a lot of web wallets and this section became full lately with issues from blockchain.info only , my warning should definitely be taken seriously , It's your choice though.

The first one is a very severe flaw with their system. No right wallet should've done that (trying to spend a tx and its double spend attempt in the same transaction). And please guys, try to understand about how the recommended fee are calculated. They are calculated by the size. It's annoying how many users on this forum doesn't know that when it has been asked and answered to death on this very forum.

To be honest that is when I stopped using them. But you shouldn't tell others to stop using a service that is just stupid. Live and live.

What's so stupid about telling others to stop using a service that can't handle people's bitcoin (=money) and bitcoin transactions correctly? We should, by the way.

I don't understand actually that why you are suggestions everyone to use wallet other than blockchain.info . Since I know that blockchain in official but I myself using myscellium because I don't like views of blockchain . In my opinion blockchain is a bad option for those who are bitcointalk forum signature campaign advertisers . Because if we are in any campaign we need a particular fixed wallet but the legacy backup of blockchain forced us to use another wallet like myscellium that have non-variable address , according to our need .

You seem to be stupid, sorry about that. It has NOTHING to do with you what other people do and do not do (with their money). It's their money so let them do with it as they please. Fucking forum of financial advisors all of a sudden. just point me to where they CANNOT handle peoples bitcoin, they have handled mine very well for a very long time.

well these are all tools and none of them are perfect. any user needs to know the weaknesses and strength of each one of these tools before using them. for example using blockchain.info has all the bad things you already know but it also is an easy way for newer members to have a bitcoin wallet , also have it handy anywhere they are fast and easy. electrum and multibit are SPV clients and SPV client is never perfect. there is the matter of trust, that you need to put in the servers you connect to so that they give you real information and not withholding anything. (there are good articles about weaknesses of SPV client online you can read) and paper wallet is only good as long as you deposit only. spending it is going to be a long process of sweeping, spending and creating a new one to put the remainder in. full node is the best option but it also has problems such as the big amount of disk space that it is going to take for blockchain. also the high amount of network traffic that it is going to need.

This is just the same as coinbase halving a lot of issue and i think coinbase are turning into scam because someone posting in their community that their credit card stole 2x of their bought bitcoins.. why some wallet right now like blockchain and coinbase are halving this issue.. Its happen after the price was increased to $1k above and crashed back to 800 level..

I think if the user is old user of blockchain ( about one year old ) then no big problem to use blockchain because if you are old user then you have multiple address or at least you have a non- variable address . In this way you can fulfill your problem of change address . Secondly I found a good thing is the blockchain , that is we can set custom transaction that . So overall here I didn't found anything bad in blockchain . It's cool to use . Repor

To be honest, I have no idea why can't anyone give a legit advise to everyone. This thread is meant to help people, no hidden agenda here, from my point of view. I'll leave this here, together with why it is a huge issue. http://blog.blockchain.com/2014/12/08/blockchain-info-security-disclosure/Reused R value. This allows hackers to gain access to ANY addresses created within the platform. What does this mean? The user's funds WILL be stolen and logic says that the victim would be severely affected, even if the refund is given. How to prevent this? Why didn't the developers debug the code BEFORE releasing the update? This is the minimum that they should do, they are handling potentially millions of dollars in the user's funds. https://blog.blockchain.com/2015/05/28/android-wallet-security-update/Weak address generation yet again. They could easily debug the code and ensure that random.org is supplying the correct code. More money lost wow. It's your choice if you heed the advice or not. We aren't forcing you.

On the other side can you explain what kind of wallet is "fixed wallet" and where did you read that? Moreover where you read that campaign advertisers believe blockchain.info wallet is bad?

Really? What makes you think btc.com is safer than blockchain.info ? With the number of updated features, they sure are concerned about "safety first" protocols.I'd still not freakout over a simple server maintenance happened a few days ago.Agree they have been ddosd before but access to the wallet is nearly impossible.URL identifiers are generated once and even if the hacker has access to them, they cannot crack the passwords associated with it.
