I have recently registered and installed Armory as my preferred wallet.

I have read from numerous threads re: the amount of time it takes to download the blockchain initially and understand my will take a looooonnnng time due to my weak internet speed.

However, I would like to confirm if the current status looks correct while downloading. I've attached a screen shot of Armory doing its thing. It has been stuck on this screen for almost a week.

Thanks for the help.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

That is not right.

Did you download and install Bitcoin Core? If not, you must do that as Armory relies on Bitcoin Core.

Once you install Bitcoin Core, or if it is already installed, stop Armory and start just Bitcoin Core. Let that sync (that is the part that actually downloads the blockchain). Once it is fully synced, then you can stop it and then start Armory.

I'll follow your instructions once it has completed its sync.
