Hello, Kraken seems to take ages to verify a simply account with passport and utility bill. I have been waiting 5 days now  Is there any good alternative to this service that has a similar platform but don't take ages to verify an account? |

There are many trading platform like bittrex, youbit.net, poloniex, c-cex etc which are more popular and safe and they also do not ask for your id, passport for verification. Better chose the trading platform that I mentioned. |

I don't understand this... Why will an exchange ask for an ID before users can trade? I don't know because I don't use Kraken. Exchanges like Yobit, C-cex and bittrex which I use don't ask for any ID. OP can make a switch. Don't let Kraken limit you!
they deal with fiat so they're bound to all the money laundering stuff that requires id. alt only exchanges are creeping towards that too. |

You can try cex.io, I'm not sure about their platform whther it is similar to kraken but they are very much quicker in verifying your documents. I submitted my passport and debit card details and they verified them in next one hour itself. Also cex is good for buying bitcoins and their trading volume is good too.

Have you made any USD deposits to those trading platforms without having to give your personal information? Or were you able to cash out FIAT without any verification? |

Poloniex asks for verification too, IF you would like to withdraw more than 2500$ per day and also a higher limit per month (equivalent value, so at price of 800$/BTC, you can't withdraw more than ~3 BTC per day). Not sure about the exact limits, but without verification the limits are quite low. |

at no point anywhere does bitcoin require id. it's when you're interacting with third party companies who are required to abide by the usual laws that this happens. it sucks but it's the same for every single other thing out there. |

Thank you very much guys.. there are a lot of good suggestions to kraken which I will try. They have still not after 6 business days verified my account nor have they replied to my tickets! they suck I hope I will find a platform that can work for my trading, I'm eager to get started. |

Kraken is the worse when it comes to KYC, I have been trying to qualified for second tier trade and my account is still under review for more than 5 months now, I don't know the tokens you want to trade on it except ICN tokens for me other exchanges is fine by me. |

I tried to signup with the suggested services.
So far Poloniex seems to be the best, however, they don't have any option to withdraw the money to an bank account in USD or EUR, that is what kraken has.
Do you guys know a reliable and trustworthy service that has a trading platform as Poloniex & Kraken but also let you withdraw the BTC in EUR or USD to a bank account ?

What about trying bitstamp or bitfinex both are leading bitcoin/usd markets and they are supporting fiat deposit and withdraw functionalities. Coinsbank could be another reliable and highly reputed services but with them you will be able to withdraw your funds through their debit card services. |

I decided to abandon my efforts with Kraken after they told me my pic of me holding my driver's license was too blurry. If you are looking for the most amount of anonymity, use a peer-to-peer exchange, like Paxful or localbitcoins. Or look for other traders like on here or on online classified sites like Craig's List or Back Page. Most in-person traders do not ask for any id. |

If Bittrex does not than I wonder if the risk is not to high to expose your funds to them. They could just disappear. Also I read some bad reviews from them. But Kraken is a nightmakre to deal with. I tried to verifiy my address and they did not accept my postcode. I opened a support request. If you already have issues in the beginning this is not a good sign. I need to do a trade this week. If they need 5 days to answer then it is not something I can or want to accept. The questions is are there real alternatives. Businesses that are legit but have good service? |
