Where is my BitInstant --> Mt Gox deposit????

Has anyone else had problems with BitInstant?   I read somewhere that it stole $200 of someone's money so I did a $25 deposit this morning to test it.    My MtGox acct showed the funds about 20 min later maybe.  ..then did a $75 one a few hours later, the exact same way and the money is not showing up in my MtGox account, even though has been 3 hrs..what gives?

Well the first one went through in just 20 minutes, so yes I am complaining because I don't know what a normal delay is.  So have you contacted them?    I would think there would be some kind of paper trail with the moneygram and take it from there.

My order took a whopping 8 days.  I also had two other orders that were done in less than half an hour.  Just post the order info and see if someone can help.  But that's what that thread is for.

I contacted them by all the means I'm aware: PM here, their /contact page (both in the old version and in the new version), asked for help in a thread around here, and also contacted them at another site. Not sure what else I'm supposed to do beyond going personally to where they live or something like that.

I lodged 30$ into mtgox using Okpay

money went out of okpay but never arrived in mtgox, i have used okpay daily since with no problems (verified account and all) but mtgox are a joke

Ok thanks I wasn't aware of that thread.  Everything around Bitcoin seems like half-ass, amateur websites...MtGox and every other one of them....very frustrating.

Thanks for the help guys...I posted in that thread and also in the thread, it had the link to ask for help on the Bitinstant site and my funds are now showing up in Mt Gox.   Unfortunately the price of BTC has gone up 50% since the funds were supposed to show up but at least I didn't lose any money....just profits that I would have had.  Oh well.

Go to the above address to see what is going on with BitInstant...They have been taking deposits and not send coins..They have only sent coins to select accounts,etc...Buyers Beware..

I've used them a few times in the last month without issue. I know they prefer you contact them via the following form so that they make sure they're receiving all the relevant info needed to resolve order problems:

I made two deposits today and they both went through pretty quickly..one to MtGox and the other to Bitcoin Address...so just tough to tell with them.

That is strange. I wish you the best (that your funds show up). What payment method did you do? I always do MoneyGram. I complete the process and pay the cashier, then literally as soon as I get to my car the funds are available on MtGox.

I saw you sent them $ 1400, while the maximum amount is supposed to be $ 500. Is that no longer true ?

Now, a different thing that infuriates me is that I paid through ZipZap twice, but I never got this damned event type "New Order". Instead, I get stuck on "Quote for new transaction" and I have to beg Bitinstant employees thousand times to fix the damned thing. The first time it took 1 week + thousands begs to get the money in MtGox. Then I felt lucky and sent Bitinstant more of my money last Saturday, hopefully I will need only (thousand begs) / 2 and half the time to get my money this time (yeh, right..).

I have no idea about the max 500 but if that is the case the transaction should have declined and the cash should be in my dwolla account now.
