Registered at coinbsse !!   Grin  LMAO !!  kidding!  I registered and was verified at coinbase. I bought bitcoins and ethereum coins for the heck of it. Rather pay $9 bucks and get more coins which will turn to 10x  and Ill be rich !!  I understand now that I have a coinbase wallet, and also a vault wallet. I didnt use the vault wallet and set my my keys in my private wallet and didnt  send it to my vault wallet. I printed out all my keys and printed it out for storage. I saw that there was a plastic security wallet for storing your keys One for private and one for public use. I still dont catch on about that. Will cost ummm about $5-$6 bucks to get it??  I also saw a debit card which you can transfer  coins into it, I guess from your charge card or bank account. I still dont understand it yet. It says I can install my bitcoin address and has that cryptic stamp which a seller can transfer funds to  my address, is that right? Also, Talk about that I guess my bank account and charge card at coinbase is safe??  Duh!!   Im so smart lololol!  Since I dont have a I phone but one of those old folks flip phone. I think I can use the debit card to transact  buying and selling, and transfers right?  Im just rambling what I think about all this bitcoin stuff and hope Im goin in the right direction. Any assistance would be appreciated. First lesson I learned about bitcoin----KISS !!!  KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID!  Grin Shocked Grin   ALOHA !!!!
Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Much better to don't use coinbase right now most of their issue are credit card they are deducting multiple times their credit card even they are just buying a small amount of bitcoin. If you really want to be safe much better to stay away from coinbase until the issue will be fix..

Choosing coinbase is a mistake. Pull out your funds there while still can do. One of my friend send btc from his other and doesnt receive until now. Coinbase is also known for stealing funds. Theres a bunch of wallets out there. Stay away from coinbase. This is my friendly advice for you mate.

Coinbase will be at danger if all bitcoin users will ban this wallet. Coinbase should fix this issues by now ,or it might be thier end. when i heard the news about  users complaining on coinbase all i did is to transfer my bitcoins to my other wallet. Its too risky to put your bitcoins at coinbase right now.

Electrum is free. You don't pay anything to use it. It's security is the best of the desktop wallets. If you don't have 58 Euro to buy the Ledger Nano you can opt for the Ledger HW.1 hardware wallet which is great too and costs really cheap , only 15 Euro. Your coins will be forever safe in it, just make sure to use it preferably in Linux machines for extreme peace of mind regarding the safety of your coins.

coinbase is not recommended and does not make you a pro at bitcoin from what they want you to think when using them and their services.

to become more inept at using bitcoin use the advice that others have given to you and download a wallet
you will thank them later for their advice. Wink

I noticed the same thing, you should just try to buy once and if it says failed just wait.
I tried to buy some BTC too with a card, it said failed first and suddenly i got debited 3 times for the amount, so their system is not working really so well.
I think that coinbase needs to fix this issue ASAP, because otherwise they will probably lose some customers.

Im not sure if you are for a real or not,
But if you want privacy, you'll need to mix your coins with some trusted mixer, or go through exchange of -> Bitcoin -> Monero -> Bitcoin. Of course this does not mean absolute privacy either.

I tried coinbase for the first time about 2 weeks ago. I was supposed to get a $10 referral bonus and so was the person who referred me. Neither of us got the bonus, I've had an automated response (After about a week) asking if it was still an issue (obviously it is, this is your first contact with me!) and then after saying yes it's still an issue it was almost another week until I got yet another automated response. Long story short, I didn't get my $10 bonus. I don't recommend a company that literally screws up the first transaction with a client. If they screwed up and got it to me, whatever. Mistakes happen. What they did though is blamed me the client and said that I must have doe something wrong.

Stay away from coinbase. I don't trust them whatsoever. Hopefully my usual exchange comes back up but they seem to be having some issues at the moment so couldn’t really recommend them either!

In terms of what wallets I use: Paper wallets made on any sort of live system (Ex: Ubuntu Live CD or USB) for large amounts of funds and Mycelium for my hot wallets. You can also add watch only addresses so you can keep an eye on your cold storage bitcoins (or anyone elses bitcoins for that matter!)

I have not had problems with coinbase, except for saying buy failed and then charging the credit card 20 minutes later. You should be good just withdrawing your coins from there, or mixing them before sent to any other site. I've heard rumours of coinbase banning accounts for anything gambling related etc.

If you bother reading his post he is being sarcastic about it, he was only joking.
