Do you think a legal expenses insurance would be helpful to enforce your rights and money?
I am not sure about it as i am small time gambler. It might be helpful for whales who spend a fortune gambling.

Are you willing to pay lawyer and court fees from your pocket, to enforce your money?
It all depends upon the amount of money lost.As you would not spend a huge amount to get pennies back  Grin

If a gaming or betting company owe you money, would you have interest to get it?
Most of the sites i play would reply if i start a support ticket and would rectify the issue as soon as possible.

It is definetely helpful for whales, but also for small bettors. Everyone can hit a huge progressive or bad beat jackpot with small bets.

Jasonort at betcoin.ag i.e., he was no whale but crystal clear won a huge progressive jackpot worth 500 Bitcoins (some say 1000 Bitcoins). He could enforce his win, but is not willing to spend any money. With a legal expenses insurance, he could cost free initiate legal action and enforce the Bitcoins owed.

Are you willing to pay lawyer and court fees from your pocket, to enforce your money?

Absolute correct. How much % of the money owed would you be willing to spend to enforce your rights?

Most of the sites i play would reply if i start a support ticket and would rectify the issue as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, there were a lot of sites who answered support tickets, but with false and misleading promises. Hence, support answer requests does not necessarily mean rectify the issue. Sad

In the first place. I consider most of the gambling sites illegal in my place especially right now. My main point of doing so sometimes is to experience the game and the site themselves so that i can provide any reviews. Tho this things a very far from hiring some ensurance of lawyers to feel safe because i my self dont gamble that much

Lol. Then how can you protect your members in the first place if you yourself doesnt have an idea to the owner of the gambling site he was playing? Isnt it crazy to have an insurance service in which you couldnt get something? Are you willing to pay your user when they lose in gambling?

I think it is a great idea but it would be logical to enforce these into regular companies first. If it Works than we can check out for bitcoin casinos too. Bitcoin casinos already have an advantage on trust thanks to seeds but places like pokerstar or similar have a lot of trust issues that people believe they take their Money. So it would be wise to start with them first and than come to bitcoin afterwards.

Legal Expense insurance ? Why do you think an insurance company would cover such kinds of things,...
Because it is the function of an insurance to collect small amounts from a large number of members, to pay the large costs of legal proceeding for a small number of victims.

Game Protect makes it even possible to qualify cost free for an online gaming consumer protection service.

...specially when gambling website owners don't usually run a licensed casino and can just claim to have been hacked ?
1) In the Bitcoin only world a lot of operators are not licensed, but in general, most operators are licensed and their identity is known. In all 3 currently pending Game Protect cases the owner/operator is known:

Full Flush Poker Litigation 70:30, Equity Marketing Management BV

Lock Poker Business Plan, 15 mio embezzled, claim your money!

Win Cake Poker + Juicy Stakes

2) Even if an operator is not licensed and or his identity is not publicly recorded, there is still the possibility to find traces and hold the responsibles liable.

The betcoin.ag scam i.e. is a hide the operator site, but I know the responsible parties to sue. Smiley

Based on my experience and knowledge, in most cases the problem is that victims are not willing to spend larger amounts to enforce their money and not because the identity of the responsible parties to sue is not known.

An insurance service in which you couldn't get something would be indeed crazy, but this is obviously not the case.

No, no insurance in this world is willing to pay legitimate gambling losses. But if players lost because of a rigged software, yes, then legal proceedings would be covered by the insurance.

The key point is if the identity of the operator/owner is recorded/known and not what deposit method is used.

Offer Bitcoin doesn't necessarily mean = anonym and there are several known operators who offer Bitcoin, i.e.:

BetOnline https://game-protect.com/betonline-details/  | SBR rating A+

Bovada https://game-protect.com/bovada-details/ | Mexico + US

Bodog https://game-protect.com/bodog-details/ | Canada + South America

Ignition https://game-protect.com/ignition-details/ | US only

Therefore, we can directly check out for Bitcoin casinos too. Wink

That's a bit strange to spend on an insurance for gambling IMHO xD

Especially on the case of betcoin.ag you're giving. If one wins 1000btc I'd say you could spend a few thousands dollars in legal fees if your cause is legitimate...
It doesn't matter what "insurance" you have. If you win a big jackpot it will always be worth the legal expenses no?

Absolutely correct!

But in most cases the winners simply have not the money on hand to pay the over $10,000 investigation (if required) and legal expenses costs!

This is the problem:

- Jasonort won a 500 Bitcoins jackpot and is not willing or able to spend the investigation and legal expenses.

- The Full Flush Poker Litigation 70:30 victims are basically not willing to spend only 1,5% of the possible amount to receive, to start the court case, while this is an instant call from a mathematically point of few: Only 1,5% to spend, while the chance to win the court case and get the money owed is at least around 25%.

And this problem is solved with a cost free or low contribution "legal expenses insurance", because in both cases Game Protect simply pay the litigation costs, with the chance to receive what is owed.

An insurance is important, because instead of a small number of victims have to contribute a huge amount, a huge number of insured contribute a low amount and make the proceeding instantly possible.

In addition, a cost free or low contribution insurance makes it also possible and worth to enforce lower amounts owed. There is a reason why insurances are so popular. Smiley

Can you please translate this to readable English?

because bitcoin gambling site anonymous, and player bitcoin gambling still prefered and like this use anonymous
Why is Bitcoin gambling site anonymous? There are a lot of known operators who offer Bitcoin as a deposit and withdrawal option.

Did you make a poll? How many % of the Bitcoin users like to use this anonymous? If players still prefered anonymous, there would be not such a huge request to introduce Bitcoin for not anonymous sites. A few % want to stay anonymous, but this is no problem, as there are still some anonymous stay sites available.

Nothing because the fees you would pay for a lawyer are probably going to outweigh the money to be returned. 100% this case will be dragged for years in a court of law. Better to just brush it off and move on with your life.
