TBH i have no problem with them owning that much of a wealth, tho it's mostly possible that they weren't doing that clear of business, they've invested, risked and earned. Not all of these kind of man are in the place where they started to rugs. Some of them, or maybe most of them really has a good and rich families at that time making good money from the companies. And reading that 9 billionaires are holding money the same as the half of the poorest of the planet, that is really unfortunate.

These people worked very hard and their condition is the result of their labors. We need to take an example from them. You can not approach the ocean of possibilities with a teaspoon and be content with the small when the whole world is at your feet.

Yes. Some of these inherited their wealth, but most of them worked hard to become rich. You need a combination of luck and hard work to become rich. Only 0.0000001% of the people will be blessed with this unique combination.

The problem with a lot of this money is that it's all on paper, it can't be liqudiated and if the people who owned shares of the companies tries to liquidate their shares in the portfolio of companies they own it would cause an insane amount of panic. Causing the share price to plummet and their wealth to decrease -- unless people were buying all these shares up at market price.

This too, welcome to the MSM and what they try to do in order to paint a horrible picture to the rich and the elite in the countries in a way to get people to turn against them. Always bothers me that companies do this that are owned by the elite too-- like aren't you being counterproductive.

Your post may be sarcastic, but in reality this is the best solution. Look at Sub Saharan Africa. The people are having 10-15 children each, and then they ask the Western nations to send them food aid saying that they can't feed their children.

looking at the 8 people at the top should restore faith in humanity. They are not royals nor having great hereditary wealth. Almost all of them built from scratch. They were all stories of entrepreneurship. All of them were first generation entrepreneurs [at that scale].

While Buffett and Slim were beneficiaries of business minded parents, the others were stories of great struggle of people with no business background building first generation enterprises. Some were sons of book keepers, railway workers, lawyers and dentists. Others like Bezos and Ellison [like Jobs] endured tumultuous childhood due to unprepared/unqualified biological parents.

They all depict human struggle and the will to overpower them. A large chunk of these guys are great philanthropists who gave away far, far more wealth than their critics had seconds in their life.

In short, there is nothing obscene or scary or wrong about it.

A lot of refugees now hide behind children to get an allowance and a residence permit in Europe. I believe that their assistance to such people the West is provoking the growth of such dependents.
