How much would you have now if you bought btc instead of your first smartphone?

i think its almost 0.4 btc because my smartphone is about $400 or more so if i buy btc rathen than to buy smartphone, i have more than 0.4 btc but fortunately, now i have my first smartphone which is oppo smartphone.

You don't always compare money with commodities. The pleasure Smartphone can give, maybe not be given by just holding the coins in the wallet. and of course we save money to buy things. Smartphone is a need in today's world and i think is a good desicion to buy this necessity of the modern world.

this is a wrong question and a wrong topic all over.
it is always wrong to think about money this way, in a regretful way, it is not healthy. you always spend what you need and invest what you an afford to invest. nothing more and nothing less.
in other words if you needed a smartphone you bought a smartphone and you shouldn't start thinking what if i didn't and had bitcoin.

Ok let me do the calculations here; I bought a black iPhone 4 32GB in July 2010 which was selling at $299 AT&T and from my history checks the price of bitcoin inJuly 2010 was ($0.08=1BTC). So I could have bought 3737.5BTC then, so if I stored it cold until it rose to 1,100$ either in 2013 or early this month I should have made 3737.5*1100=$4,111,250. WTF I would have been a millionaire!!!!

I actually got my first smart phone becuase i wanted the 2fa set up for exchange trading.  I wonder if anyone else is in my boat? so to answer your Q i would have about only 2 BTC judging for price at the time haha.

If i invested the price of the smartphone at launch into Bitcoin, today that Bitcoin would be worth $211,589 USD
